How to Style Chemo Curls

I apologize for the lighting & awkward setup--I'm still learning!
This is how I've been styling my hair now that my chemo curls are starting to grow. I will update as my hair continues to grow out. :)

Hi. Great video and you look so beautiful. I stumbled across your video because I finished treatment for breast cancer towards the end of last year. I'm 51 and by no means at all good looking. I hate my chemo curls with a passion :-( I just don't have the nice strong features to carry off short hair - I'm very conscious of my chubby plain face and the chemo curls make me look like an old woman. I'm struggling to know what to do with my short curls - I think I hid behind my hair before I had cancer - probably more than I realised at the time. You look amazing though - hope you are keeping well xx

Thank you! :) I know what you mean, I am 28 and feel that cancer has aged me decades. How long is your hair now? I always had long hair and agree that I probably hid behind my hair too. My curls seem to be loosening a little the longer they get. Have you tried headbands or barrettes? I was on steroids for several months and my face definitely ballooned up. I always made sure to contour my face and that at least made me feel like it helped. Do you take vitamins or anything? Thank you for watching.

I guess you understand now how natural curlies feel it looks beautiful I have the wrong cut so I understand the mullet lol your curls are really defined embrace it! My mom had breast cancer and she still has had no hair growth I wish I could help her
