@@franciscadri3090 I got jadon and at first I wore it around the house a couple of times, I thought it was fine like quite comfortable to say the least. Today I wore it out I could only wear it for 5000 steps. At first it was okay then suddenly i got blisters around my Achilles’ tendon, it was so difficult to walk I had to stop in a park and stuff tissues which didn’t even work so I took the bus. I’m planning on putting damp cloth inside for a few days to soften it, and rubbing Vaseline with a hairdryer too. Moral of the story: it is going to kill so be prepared, put plasters on and WEAR THICK LAYERED SOCKS. I’ve heard they become the most comfortable boots after they’re broken so I’m not giving up. Just a note I ordered .5 size up because my size is a half but they don’t make it :/ good luck!

@@wellredcreations so I ended up trading the boots for a size smaller, I originally got 5 because I’m 4.5 but got 4 instead. These ones have a much sturdier weird type of leather so are taking forever to break into. But I got a silicone heel protector from Amazon costed approx £0.90 in total v cheap. It’ll stop the heal from rubbing. I’ve worn these boots for a few months now they’re not very comfortable but they’re not bad. This month I’m going to wear them everyday and walk approx 10000 steps a day if I remember I’ll let you know how it goes. Hope this helps

If the tongue of the boot hurts the top of your foot, I recommend taking some duct tape (or any kind of heavy duty tape) and taping down the seam under the tongue. It prevents the seam from sticking up when you put on the boot and cutting in to your foot.

If you're wearing Docs at least Bar Lace them ( it looks sooo much better that way ).. As for hurting your feet, well you have to break them in. After about 2 weeks or so they were broken in and super comfortable

Easiest and painless way to break in new boots, leather ones that is, is to soak them in warm water, in the bath whilst wearing them or leave in a large bucket overnight, put on a dry pair of thick socks and wear them until they are dry, then a good polish or a leather oil application, they now fit like a glove.

Just skip to 6 mins in if you want to know how they stop hurting you… but even then the answer is to not lace them up. Useless….
@HannahHearts1345 жыл бұрын
sorry but that tip is really dumb.. they don't hurt because of how they're laced, they hurt because they're high quality leather that is by nature stiff and therefore needs to be broken in. Their whole selling point is that once you have broken them in, they're moulded to your feet and are then extremely comfortable and last a lifetime. It's great that apparently you don't need to break them in (you must have really narrow feet???) but this was useless information for everyone else. If your docs hurt you need to wear thick socks and take the time to wear them in gradually - only wear them for a couple hours at a time if thats all you can handle - and if that doesn't seem to be working after a couple weeks get an insole or something to cushion them more.

be careful what color you chose to have on your boots. they means different things. also the way you lace them as well :)

would you recommend sizing up or down for these?
@mayahelliott024 жыл бұрын
I just got the jadons and i had to size down when i tried on in store i usually wear a 7.5-8 and the 8 was so big they slipped right off so instead i got a 7, so I’ll size down if you’re a half size . I hope that helps

Where is a good place to shop jeans that go with doc martens?
@NVSXO5 жыл бұрын
try the mom jeans from topshop, they’re a bit pricey but you definitely get what you pay for. they’re super cute especially when they’re rolled up at the bottom. I feel like they compliment boots and sneakers nicely.

i just ordered platform chelsea boots, has anyone and them and does anyone have tips to break this specific boot in?
@OliviaFrost5 жыл бұрын
hey thanks for watching my video, I have them too actually :) make sure you wear socks that are longer than the boot. as the only lace they rub are the rim on your leg.

@oliverlevick4 жыл бұрын
just keep wearing them or but the doc mart wonder balm and rub this in every night and it will loosen them
@angeliquesubran43694 жыл бұрын
shahad walid Heat them with a hair dryer, then coat them in mink oil (I even rubbed in in the inside of the boot but not on the insoles), heat them up again then put them on with thick wool socks, lace them up tightly (that helps them stretch)... Repeat. I felt a difference with the mink oil, I tried the doc martens wonder balm before and it did nothing but the mink oil seems to help.
