I'm taking the challenge to show you how I style midi length skirts, but the most exciting thing is that I have four other amazing women styling up midi length skirts for their body type and their personal style. I'm 5'2 and size 4. I wear midi skirts a lot! I love them and I have several. I wear fuller and slim ones. The trick, like your fun petite ladies said, is waist emphasis and the right styling. :) Thank Beth!

@@oohnaturel5717 heels and a continuous line. Either boots or tights the same color as your shoes help. Higher waisted is a great way to lengthen. And look for the best skirt and fit, it's okay to shop around till you find the one. Good luck and happy shopping!

I love my midi skirts! I am quite short and on the curvier side, but that doesn’t stop me 😀 I usually wear mine with sneakers, t-shirts and a denim jacket.

I really liked this! Different perspectives is always good and shows how we are a community. And I want to say how great it is to have role models of self-expression in fashion. Growing up, I was ALWAYS hiding away, busy creating different looks and outfits. Usually alone in my room. I thought maybe I was weird because I was too old to be playing dress up, right?? Isn't that what kids do? But I LOVED IT and could never stop. You have very directly asserted that playing is self-expression and creation and I feel like I found a piece of me here. :) ALWAYS PLAY DRESS UP

OMG! I'm pretty sure I bought the exact same vintage Pendleton skirt over the winter in my size. That is so crazy! I agree though, it's fabulous. The colors, pleats, length, fabric, I've been having so much fun styling it. Mostly with burgundy, sapphire, and plums though, so I'm really excited to play around with that gorgeous pale blue. Also, I looooved the new challenge and seeing all the different looks! Midis are my go to closet staple, but I still got a lot of new inspiration and ideas from watching this.

What an awesome concept & such an amazing job to all the ladies - I love seeing the different approaches - different approaches to matching or mixing colors/patterns, varying levels of boldness, each lady really made it their own ! Personally, I'd love to see a culottes video, a maxi skirt video (I love them but I never quite know what to do with them), a non-dress wedding or semi-formal outfit ideas (b/c I don't wear dresses in everyday life so it gets so little use, but separates I can more easily incorporate & dress down for work or play), & styling classics (a white button down, chambray shirt, etc.) in this format.
