Excellent content! I’m thinking of buying SS gold but was unsure how it matches different colored bands. It seems that it goes well with many of my favourite color sport bands! I also have same problem as you, I love 45mm bigger screen size and better battery life but some bands are just too big for me! I’m size 1-2 solo loops and have to use smaller apple watch milanese loops… I will leave them feedback!

Go figure the one 3rd party band I REALLY like is the one that’s unknown 😭 EDIT: Great content btw - I’m a very visual person and struggle a lot with buying just about anything wearable. You my friend, are absolutely amazing! I want to buy a watch for my husband (as a surprise) and it is so hard to pick, since I don’t have his input. Seeing all of the looks, styling possibilities, types of bands and colors has been extremely helpful. I particularly love that you showed suits, because I couldn’t visualize how dressy it could look. Thank you! This must have taken a whole 2 days between changing, b roll and editing - at least. I got him the SE midnight aluminum with the black sporty Nike band. I ordered both the 40 and 44, so he can pick which one he wants to keep, and I’ll give him the option to upgrade to the series 8 stainless steel and swapping bands if he so desires. I just didn’t want to commit to the more expensive one since I’m going fully blind here 😅

Thank you! Silver matches more because it’s more of a neutral color. Like you can treat it like gray. It also reflects the colors around it to match the rest of your outfit. If you wear a lot of gold jewelry though I’d get gold.

I see it this way. When it comes to Apple watches in stainless steel, none is dressier than the other. Some might see it differently because it comes down to how successfully it’s pulled off. Here’s what helps me narrow it down when shopping: 1. which will match your wardrobe more 2. which you’ll like looking at more. Graphite is closer to gray so it should match more if you prefer a darker, sleek look. Gold gives more of a pretty glow. 3. Which color looks best on your skin. Does it blend in? I’m the type to sample both if I have to choose one. 😉Have fun in the process

Silver matches more! 🙌 esp if you like light/bright colored watchbands. If mostly like dark, go with graphite and if you like colors complimenting each other go gold! Ex: gold and dark cherry braided loop 😌

No problem! If you get the matching 44mm sport loop it should fit. It should match colors too if that’s your preference. I just like my cases generally lighter than my bands.

For the stainless steel you have the option of (in apple’s terms) gold, silver, and graphite. They’re all very nice👍 . I wear silver more because it matches more things. Also think of which colors match the colors in your wardrobe. Gold and graphite’s color coat also protects from scratches more 💡I should make a separate video on this

If I am a size 6 in the solo loop and fits very snug, would a size 6 in the braided solo loop feel the same size or bigger/looser so i should go with a Size 5 braided solo loop for a snug fit?

I wish I was able to post my braided loops review. For Braided loops, I sadly found Apple is having manufacturer errors: Sometimes when you get the same size no matter which color, one could end up longer which is probably confusing more people. Like my blue was longer than my black even though they were both size 4 😒. The Solo loops (non braided) have been more consistent. ⭐️Basically best to buy the size 6 you like in an actual Apple store so you can open it there to make sure it fits. If not you can exchange it right away. Or if staying at home order two sizes and return one.

I got the stainless gold 44 watch with the gold tone stainless milianese band. I was annoyed/disappointed with the match. The watch was a new gold tone that has more yellow and a highly polished finish. The band was a different color of gold, seemed to have more of an orange tone, and the finish was a brushed stainless.

I love your style *but the size of the watch on your wrist is cramping up the rest of your attire. The 44mm is definitely too big for your wrist (or your arm in general). It's like you have an iPhone 4S strap to your wrist. LOL ...sorry. just looking out.

The gold and silver stainless finishes are gaudy, tacky and poorly matched with most bands and clothing. Do yourself a favor and go for midnight aluminum or graphite stainless - they go well with every style and color, casual and formal. They also look more seamless - you can hardly see where the screen ends and the case starts.
