I missed this video a year ago... but I relate with your situation with your dad, I let my thoughts go out loud one time, about a pink hat/sweater, my dad looked at me awkwardly and asked: "Are you going to really wear that color?" hahaha, he doesn't mean bad, in his 49 years, he hasn't been used to see men wearing yellow/pink colors for clothing.

I will wear any colour my gf said she thinks I look good in pink, especially my blue suit with pink shirt, she likes me in black most, which is OK, especially if I'm trying to really get her attention, but I prefer bright colours for the most part:white, lemon, pink, lavender, sky blue or powder blue, or I might go all out and wear a magenta, blue and green tie-dye, get all the mixtures from white to black and everything in between going on! I don't feel any less masculine in pink at all, nor does it change my sexuality, I like women ( not that it would matter one tiny bit if I was gay, wouldn't make any difference!) it shows you are secure in yourself if you can dress the way you want and not the way society expects!
