I am 54 years old and just now realized that I have been doing my hair all wrong my whole life. Your video showed me how to use a round brush to get lift and use product correctly and how to work your hair with your fingers to get the look you want. I have always thought that I just wasn't meant to have hair that looked good. I just didn't know the techniques to achieve the look I want. I love knowing how to do different things with my hair now. Happy 2020! I loved the blonde style in 2019, it was fresh and on trend. It was a lovely look. However- this shorter darker hair allows your beautiful bone structure and features to really pop! It’s dramatic, fun, flirty- you!

When I was about 8 or 9, my mother had my hair cut off because it was so difficult getting me ready for school in the morning. it was snarly, and I hated having anyone brush it - detangle it...aweful - well my mother cut off all my hair and gave me a pixie cut similar to what you have Dominique...and I never felt so ugly in all my 8 short years life - I was so vulnerable and was so self conscience and did I say ugle. It damaged me as I have NEVER gone short like that again - I am now 58 and ready to stop dying my hair and get on with letting the gray come out - get on with getting on! ..and when I see how lovely and versatile your cut is....it makes me think I should reconsider...not sure. But man!!! I so enjoyed how you want us to "get it" about going bold...Today I am off to my hairdressers...not sure what the conversation will be...but I am closer than have ever been in 50 years! Crazy.

Good luck with the stylist! I love my short hair; have kept mine short since age 17, with no regrets. Also stopped coloring it ~1.5 years ago. It's white at the temples. So liberating to not worry about the ever 4-6 weeks of touch ups!

Got a longer bob back on early Nov. Wash it 2x wkly and use some sort of gel. During the wk I use a small barrette for two to keep hair off face when the errands are being run. I dress for church & use a fancier clip & usually so.e product. Been thinking of getting a body wave but not sure if I want to bother. You're right! Short hair doesn't limit your options for wear.

I really love love short styles. My hair is thinning as I age and I've got the saggy neck thing going on and that is why I grow my hair longer now, to hide the neck more.
