Live in a really rural area....don't have the opportunity to try most of the items you use. Have shoulder length hair and yesterday secured an appointment with a good hair dresser. Dominique, I cannot tell you enough how much I love your hair tutorials. You are so good as showing and explaining each step and it gives me confidence. One super simple thing I've been doing wrong all of these years is spraying at the root, thinking that it would hold that lift --- it now seems obvious not to do that, but I realized after watching this video that I've been spraying it like that since the 80s LOL!!!

I have no idea if this woman has an formal education on hair or makeup,but OMG-she is amazing! I have been a successful professional in the beauty industry for years ,but she is a gem . I have been blessed enough to take classes by many hairstylists and makeup artists, but they don't posses the gift of gab she has- although they may have invaluable knowledge they lack personality and depth! After the first 5 minutes of watching this video I was so invested, not for the knowledge, but for her! And here's the thing... She knows exactly what she is talking about !!! Products, how to utilize them, proper steps and techniques! Often times there are beauty bloggers who are so pretentious and uninspired trying to just come up on KZbin or Instagram, but you can tell just by listening and watching that she is so genuinely happy to be doing this and it comes from an authentic place! An added bonus that she is actually demonstrating the correct way of doing things! I am now a new fan!

My hair is rather long... and colored b/c I'd otherwise be about 60% gray... the closer to the front the grayer I am, maybe approaching 85-90% gray. When I decide to stop coloring, I think this layered bob might be the way for me to go! Thanks for the tips!!

This is the best haircut, it’s so gorgeous and it’s exactly what I always wanted but nobody can recreate it! I wish there was a tutorial for the haircut itself.
