Love the bags, love your style, but would REALLY love it if we could all move past calling plastic, “leather”. It’s not leather, kids - vegan or otherwise. It’s plastic. Pure and simple.

@@CarlaRockmore1 I will absolutely continue to support you Carla, but it continues to be disingenuous to call plastic “vegan leather”. Vegan leather is a mere marketing term, used to placate the concerns of brands who don’t like to admit that plastic is what it actually is. Given that new research now shows that microplastic makes up to 0.5% by weight of our brains - our BRAINS! And up to 10 times more than that in the brains of people with dementia 😢 - it’s really imperative that plastic is limited to where it is a need, rather than a cheaper substitute. I’m not for a moment trying to imply that your beautiful bags are anything but gorgeous, but they will be around for centuries - and even millennia - to come, and there’s no getting around that fact I’m afraid. The fashion industry has a lot to reckon with when it comes to over-production, as we have all become so aware of. But it also has to reckon with its pervasive and unnecessary use of plastic. I’d love to see you lead the way in that ❤️

Much as I love the bags, they are vegan leather. I find it does not wear well over time 😢 So I thrift real leather bags instead. I have a beautiful black vintage Italian leather crossbody bag and a vintage 70's Carmel brown leather crossbody bag. I find that is all I really need and, with proper care, they may do me for a lifetime!

Love the style and colors of these bags. Follow the carbon footprint of plastic goods. Not good at all. Not environmentally friendly. Believe or not, leather goods can be much more sustainable and responsibly sourced. Do your homework before making a claim.
