Bonjour, Marie-Anne. Because of your videos, I added white pants to my wardrobe 2 seasons ago. I have a pair in white denim, and a pair of 'smart' Ralph Lauren ones in cotton. I loved many of your looks, and especially the ones with the Chanel-style jackets, and the pairings of white pants with gray, camel, navy blue, and light blue. I have learned so much from you over the years and every time I get a compliment on my outfit (which happens quite often, now) I graciously accept the compliment and I think of you and send you a thank you in my mind. If I get a compliment and I am with my husband, or one of my three daughters, I always tease them and ask if they heard it. We all laugh about it, because I'm often talking about you and French Chic style. And here's a bonus: my elevated style has a positive effect on my husband as sometimes when he sees my outfit before we go out, he will change his shirt to something a bit dressier. Ha ha ha!

Marie Anne, I love this video and this type of video where you style one piece with many different ideas. It is infectious to watch you having so much fun, like a young girl playing dress up... I am in 40's still love clothes and love to pull them out from the closet and try on different combinations. Sometimes, when I was doing that, my daughter would call out for me. My husband would tell her: mom is busy, she is playing dress up! LOL. Joy of life from these little things.

The red blazer created a wow moment. Nowadays everything is about bright pink, which is nice, but the good old red was surprisingly amazing. Actually you can wear so many colours with white... grass green, orange, lemon yellow.. turquoise.... So a pair of white trousers is undoubtedly versatile! Thank you Marie Anne!

I loved the camel sweater, the green striped shirt and the Mariniere. I am about half way to my goal weight, so next spring I will invest in a nice pair of white trousers. I discovered your channel in 2020. The first thing I did after watching your earlier videos and reading your books was to clear out my closet. 2021 I spent purchasing clothing staples, creating the foundation of my capsule wardrobe. This year I invested in shoes, belts and handbags and I can’t believe what a difference it has made to my ability to dress. Even if I need to dress quickly or just need to run out to the shop, I can look put together and elegant. Thankfully I saw this video *before* I went to one of my favourite retailers - where I tried on the cutest off-white fine corduroy pants. They looked fantastic, and I was sure they were a "wow" till I remembered to turn and check for visible knickers. Eeek! Totally, tragically, transparent. I decided to take a closer look at their overall quality and realized they just too light-weight for the cold weather that's coming.
