Hi Sally! Usually, any slight discolorations will fade and is usually caused by the heat but you do want to be careful that the item isn't burned! 😊

How you make your labels on paper. Do I need a silhouette cutter? Or can I just print it out through printer?

These ones are sublimation so what you need is a special sublimation printer to print out designs. If you don't have sublimation printer you can use inkjet printer and use something like Siser DTV we just made a video about it if you would like to see it kzbin.info/www/bejne/eIfCaZigj9p1ja8

What measurements do you use the image?

It sounds like your mug may not be meant for sublimation or your temperature or pressure may not be enough.

5:28 sure looks like your 400° was too high. Anything above 350 will scorch most hat designed for sublimation.

Looks like they suffered from same issue I have with temperatures too high on cheep foam hats will scorch.
