My daughter came home tonight and asked if I could make car coasters for her to give as gifts for several of her coworkers for tomorrow. Can you put a coating onto the ceramic coasters to make them sublimation ready? Are there any polymer coatings for crafting purposes? I think your coaster critters are adorable.

I have a question. If you have other shape blanks. How can you make an image template of that blank so it will to that shap

To make an image template of a shape blank so it conforms to that shape, here are the steps you can follow: Select and Erase Background: Ensure you have your "select and erase" icon selected. Click on the background of your image to remove it, making the background transparent. This will allow the image to conform to the shape you want. Use Contour Tool: Select the duplicated layer and click "contour" to control the individual cuts in a layer. In the pop-up window, click the "hide all contours" button. This will hide all contours except for the shape you want to use. Create a Guide Shape: With the shape selected, click the dropdown menu under "operation" and choose "guide" to turn it into a guide shape that you can see through. Arrange and Resize Photo: Click the eye icon to unhide your photo, then click "arrange" and "send to back" to move it behind everything else. Drag your photo so it fits within the guide shape. Resize the photo by dragging a corner handle in or out until it fully fits and fills the shape with no canvas showing on any side. Drag a bounding box over the photo and the guide shape to select both, then click "slice" in the layers panel. Delete the guide shape and the slice result containing the portion of the photo outside the shape.

I've been testing ceramic ornaments today.. I'm getting vibrant colors and the black ink is very black - looks great HOWEVER, the white ceramic itself keeps getting a very light, subtle brown tint to it. Any ideas why this is happening?? I'm stumped!

Hi, I'm new to sublimation and would like to check if I am able to sublimate my designs on diatomaceous earth coaster?

Sublimation works best on surfaces that are either made of polyester or have a polyester polymer coating. Diatomaceous earth is a natural material and does not inherently have the polyester content needed for sublimation. Therefore, you would not be able to sublimate directly onto diatomaceous earth coasters unless they have been specially coated with a polyester or polymer layer that can accept sublimation ink.

If you print from DS will the image still print at 300dpi? I thought someone told me the print quality is lower printing through cricut .?

Design Space's resolution maxes out at 144dpi but the pdf is 300dpi.
