I purchased sublimation paper from your company but most of the ink stays on the paper. It never really transfers well. I have tried different heat setting with no difference. I am using printer Jack's ink..is there anyway to get it to release? Both sides of the paper are white, so can I use either side? I'm using an epson printer.

Hi Lorena, yes, you need to use a sublimation printer in order to make the sequin pillows. A traditional inkjet or laser printer will not work.

I tried a diy sequin pillow yesterday. I heatpressed 375 for 13 secs. Once i removed the transfer paper the sequins wouldn’t flip back over to the color side to hide the image. Do you know what went wrong??

Phoenix Drew you have to steam press at 400 degrees for 60 seconds. Also you have to use sublimation ink because regular ink will not work.

Do you know why after I press on the sequin pillow I get white spots when I flip? Is there anyway to prevent them?

Good question! The sublimation transfer does not cover the entire white circle, so when the sequins are shifted you will see white spots occasionally where the sublimation ink did not transfer. Hope that helps!

You said not to use sublimation paper because it will dry out the marker but we should use regular bound paper. What is bound paper is it just regular printer paper?

@@tiffanygriggs2925 Hi Tiffany, in this case, sublimation paper is not required. For sublimation to work in general, sublimation paper is not essential; however, it improves the quality of the image. The black outlined image here will show up and transfer just fine on regular copy paper. Thanks for the question!
