The thing about Emergency Fund A/c is that one key purpose it serves may not really be for "emergencies" which may not come around, but the peace of mind, stability and boldness it offers you, once set up and well funded, as you do your investments and acquire assets, other stuff and live life to the fullest 💯

I watched the video about MMF and I started it immediately, today I am looking at it as am continuing to save there and how its growing, I am just loving it. Am seeing my financial freedom far but atleast am seeing it coming😊😊😊 am about to turn my MMF saving to emergency fund and then start another investment fund, incase I find a good one.

What is the advantages of money market over a saving account that does not charge and pay interest?

@@fredleo9213 Did you watch? Sinking fund hit me hard when my work laptop charger stopped working and I had literally nothing. Not replacing it meant not working and that's how you simply loose your job. My budget was already jotted down and every coin at its place. My miscallenaous money couldn't buy that charger.I couldn't take money for food or bills.So what? I had to take a loan or get into my savings .That's when you know you need a sinking fund for such things. If you have a car ,electronics, and anything that depreciates then you need a sinking fund. Anything can happen anytime . Thank you Susan, this is a transformation.

@@nkkill8 Saccos are good when it comes to taking loans. You'll get a loan that charges very low interest like 5 % .You're given loan thrice the amount you've saved in so long as you have guarantors. The money in the sacco grows too and at the end of every year you get dividends .But in Saccos you just don't withdraw your money. Withdrawing means stepping out of the Sacco. In MMF you can withdraw even the whole amount. Isn't that awesome? Run away from current and slippery accounts like mpesa and banks if your goal is saving.Put your money there if it's for spending .

I was in work and paying of my student loan which was 37 thousand. then was out of work for two years and I had to use savings because my ex boss was difficult to give any payout. Now I’m in work I checked my balance is 24 thousand. With this new job I can pay it off in two years and 6 months. THEN I CAN START INVESTING AND living my life way I want to. Amen I’m grateful.
