I published a book back in 2009, and I was upset with the lack of "success," so I stopped writing and hid the book for years and never really mentioned it to anyone. Even though many of the locals already knew that I had written one. After watching your video, I plucked the last copies of my "failed experiment," and now they sit on my bookshelf in my office as a reminder that I should be proud of myself. I should be proud of what I wrote. Regardless of the outcome. I wrote it. Own it, and keep moving forward and keep writing. I did not start back writing until 2020. And I haven't stopped. I am currently working my way through Book 1 in my Mirror Gate Series! 104k words atm.

Kristen You have found, at such a young age, what people search for their whole lives….validation. You have found what success feels like to you. Not what others think it should be for you. And by doing what you are doing, life will be so much better, happier, more peaceful and healthier. Our world is in a constant success marathon, a competition against others and ourselves to out perform, out maneuver, out sell. But 99% of the time, we lose ourselves and what’s really important. As someone said to me recently, “ no one is going to stand at your grave and say, “she had the best set of kitchen appliances “ . You are so gifted and you are an old soul , and these attributes are apparent in your writings, your family life, your home and this channel. Just keep being you. We appreciate you, your time and help. Thank you 🤗😊

Hey Scrintal squad! 👋 Hope everyone's PKM journey is going strong! 🚀 First off, big props to Scrintal for getting us this far. The app's been a solid sidekick in our PKM adventures. But you know how it goes - the more you learn, the more you want to do, right? So, here's the deal: I feel like we're hitting a bit of a ceiling with our app setup. Don't get me wrong, we've learned some killer skills, but it's like we've got these shiny new tools and nowhere to use them. Here's what I'm thinking: 1. App Situation We're missing out on native desktop and mobile apps. Imagine being able to Scrintal anytime, anywhere! 📱💻 2. Sync Struggles: Our brilliant ideas should flow seamlessly between devices. Right now, it's more like a game of digital hopscotch. 🔄 3. On-the-Go Notes Inspiration strikes at the weirdest times. We need a way to jot down those lightbulb moments wherever we are. 💡 4. Skill Practice: We've learned so much, but without the right playground, it's tough to flex those new PKM muscles. 💪 I'm thinking if we could tackle these, we'd be unstoppable in our research quests. Tuesday November 19,2024 my first novel will be published. Title: David Sagacious Immortal Mortal. As I embark on the process of sharing with the public how much time should I spend sharing about myself and sharing the story arcs and style of my book. On and off for the last 15 years I've been a member of Toastmasters, and that is going to be the way I attempt to share my book and its unique rhyming and other alliteration prose. Fortunately, or unfortunately for me, I really don't have any other contact with the public, as I am not of social media, perhaps something to reconsider. But at the moment of this posting, I am not.

I absolutely abhor social media. I plan on the local circle to outer circle approach. Local circle: indie bookstores, library meet and greet, B&N, QR code biz cards inviting to preorder (leave on empty Starbucks tables, laundromats, etc.), and for outer circle I'll put some cash in Amazon ads, Kobo promos, etc. and get digital billboard ads for the preorder and release. You can build out from there.
