HOW TO SUMP A G BODY FUEL TANK

So in this video I show you a easy way to sump a g body fuel tank. Now this is easy but does require some welding. I have done this on 3 different cars and have all worked great. This is the cheapest and easy way to do it so you don't have a fuel cell in your trunk.
This cost under $60 with the fittings. It does hang down some but after running this for a few years I have not had a problem. if you have and question please message me and ill try to help.

Question. Is that your stock sending unit with the feed, vent and return? I have a 81 Caballero V6 3.8 L, but my fuel system is for a carburetor system. I’m thinking about doing this but not sure how I would do my sending unit etc. Does the in tank fuel pump go down that far into the sump? Or am I thinking wrong? Is this to add an in tank fuel pump so the pump won’t starve for during Acceleration and bending corners etc? Any help would be highly appreciated bro!!

Is it possible to use the el camino 22 gallon tanks in the coupes? If any modifications are needed then what has to be done? Would really like to put a 22 gallon tank in mine even if it needs to be modded to fit

Brother I have an ignorant question as I'm new to the LS world, putting a 5.3 in my Monte with just a stage 2 cam, Terminator X harness, and a walbro 255 pump. Would I need to do the sump pan since it's just a mild street car, or could I just use the existing pickup tube? I appreciate any help.

I've seen others use the factory pick up and not have problems so I think u will be ok. Just make sure u keep some fuel in it and I doubt u will ever have a problem
