Eat carbs at the right levels to support your energy output. Don't just cut carbs.

You are a source of inspiration when I see you doing the exercises, you manage to overshadow your own beauty, which in a sense disappears, and what I understand is only the celebration you make of integral health. A greeting

After a car accident, I couldn't work out and I gained 10 lbs. I could walk / hike 10 miles a day, and the weight stayed. (for months) As soon as I was healthy enough to work out with any intensity at all, I lost 5lbs almost immediately. Intensity definitely plays a huge part!

My exercise once was a priority. Today I gave up. I can't believe how I turned my life around and how I am unstable with motivation. I feel ashamed and worthless. I wish I can come back and feel alive with exercising. I have no hope. So many years invested in exercise and today I don't have strength to do daily house chores. I want just a little bit of my energy level to begin again. I stopped dreaming.

Saw your short. That is not a drill, that is freestyle, which is always the best form of exercising. There are two forms of exercising. Those that are stretching, and those that are contracting, like respiration = inhalation + exhalation. Both need to be done in equal measure during alternate routines. If you only do stretching you will not have strength. If you do only contraction you will not have agility and mobility. The best way to learn about yourself, to get to know yourself, your own body, your own mind and your own heart is to exercise them, and to use them, never misuse them or abuse them, at least not deliberately, or even mischievously or even deceptively. This way you can always build a healthy relationship with yourself. There is your true independence. You have earned it and gained it all by, for and of yourself. You are truly free.

Hey I like your workout videos but this is nice to watch/listen to as well. Can't always be working out, it's too tiring.

Clearly high intensity exercise has worked for you and many others but the truth of the matter is that for every study that shows it to be the most optimal form of exercise, there are many other studies showing that too much high intensity exercise can cause cortisol issues, specially for us women. I personally don't find high intensity exercise to be the best type for me at 41. I did that when I was a bit Younger. These days I prefer more traditional lifting and long walks. But I get the appeal for shorter, more intense workouts.

Completely agree! Im older than you but HIIY has never worked for me, I just get too drained apart fro the fact that the majority of HIIT is not ok for people with knee issues.
@hcsuperfitness9922
@hcsuperfitness9922 2 жыл бұрын
I definetely agree for most part. But there is a way of doing hiit in a smart way for women. More strenght training type of hiit and less explosive movements that drain the central nervous system. Also one session should not be too long,preferably less than 20min, so the cortisol levels don't spike up. The timing of the workout is important too, if the workout is done too late in the day,the body doesn't have enough time to cool down and calm dowm before bed, so the sleep gets disturbed. And then there's not enough recovery. And with hiit type of training,its very important to progressively add hiit workouts through period of weeks, not days, because it becomes too draining and too much stress for the body if done every day as a beginner. Also, if a woman wants to engage hiit type of workouts, they should definetely eat more calories, because hiit consumes a lot of energy, especially explosive hiit movements. Too many women cut off carbs and become adrealine fatigued sooner or later. If we as a woman,do hiit, we MUST eat enough carbs if our metabolism type needs them. And this you can either try and experiment with your body, or do a gene testing.

The habit of increasing hormones that build and strengthen is an ancient concept. AND.....one that's only recently being looked at by Western medicine. Are you familiar with Qi Gong? Liu Zi Jue, and Rou Quan? These are methods that are over 2000 years old that look at the things you speak about here...and the proper diet to enhance it. BTW.......the diet is different between male and female.

@@ZuzkaLight understandable but I don't think it's possible because the degree of instrumentation necessary to make the fine discernment just isn't something easily scaled down. I would be wary of any products offering that.

Do high intensity workouts and lift heavy weights and go to sauna. All those increase hgh very drastically. There's also studies stating that if you use GABA, it increases HGH for a certain period of time.
