Another great video! 3 additional points: 1. Have a plan, but adapt to change. 2. Try very hard to keep the spine pocket empty of any object that is not soft. (Only have 1 spine, don't want to damage it.) 3. Always stay fueled up. (Don't leave yourself vulnerable in sketchy areas by needing fuel.) Prefer to (A) keep all my vehicles at or above 1/2 a tank, (B) fill them at or before noon, (C) fill them as far as possible from home, (D) always top off before driving near any unfamiliar city, (E) attempt to stay away from problem areas after 2-4pm, and especially (F) take care to use different routes to/from home & stores. Followup to 3.(F) If I think I'm being followed, then I make 2 left turns (preferably at lights with green/red arrows & lights far enough apart that the 2nd turn can't be seen from the first), if still unsure make a 3rd left turn, then a right, and if they're still behind me after a long U-turn, then it's time to drive toward the nearest PD while calling the non-emergency number... (911 if directly threatened). I have the non-emergency numbers of several adjacent towns & county sheriff's offices in my phone in the "LEO" folder of phone contacts.

Avoid Conflict. One of the ways to do that? To paraphrase a rather well-known Special Forces operator on KZbin "Don't be a !^ick". Be kind to others, be of service, be patient when patience is the better part of valor. Be honorable. Too many tacticools, who watch too much TV or play too many video games. Inconvenience is not grounds for confrontation. The only way WE fix OUR society is for ALL of us to appreciate political differences matter but they're NOT more important than civility. Conflict is always easy to find, to create, to inflame. And, lastly, real men (we're talking mostly about men lets be honest) are not driven to conflict by EGO. Be prepared and, most often, that means avoiding conflict. That's not pacificism - it's prudence.

I'd highly recommend keeping the two flashlights. Yes, the 400x on the airsoft is an exellent light, HOWEVER, whatever your light is pointed at, your airsoft is also pointed at. Because of this, you could be liable for brandishing your airsoft, or pointing it at someone... not the best idea... Having the dedicated light allows you to simply use the light as a light. Also, do you carry a lighter? Sure, in the urban landscape, its less of an issue, but out in the sticks, off the main path, the need to build a fire could arise..... or am I way off?

I just want to emphasis what Cody said at the end of the video. The crime in the cities is a real issue I don't think is being highlighted by the media. We lived in a city in California and since the beginning of the pandemic things are out of control. We were almost carjacked on the way to the grocery store by a crazy man who said he had to go somewhere. Luckily he wasn't armed and eventually gave up when I almost ran him over. Then at night we had someone try to open our door when I confronted him and said I was going to call the police he said "go ahead they wont come". And you know what he is right! If you call the police in these cities they no longer respond unless someone is dead or there is a gun involved. When I called during the attempted car jacking they said there was nothing they could do and I could file a report if I wanted to come down to the station. I have many other stories from friends in the same neighborhood. We have finally left the city they just are no longer a safe place IMO.

I’m a NYC cop in Harlem. I definitely agree that people should consider carrying items for their own protection. I would also carry or thinking of adding to the kit some high power flash light, some pepper spray or if you could a taser(non lethal option). Also even after the Ritenhouse case which I am ecstatic he was Not Guilty on all charges think about some micro camera to put on yourself. Incase you do find yourself in that position activate the camera and you have video proof of what happened. I am astonished that it has come down to that but if it wasn’t for people who had cellphone footage of what happened to Kyle the outcome might have been different.

Another great video sir. Just some info for whoever cares: 1. Having your “gear” does not help if you don’t train with it. Get some instruction from someone who knows how to teach. 2. In the bag is great. But everyone must understand and recognize when the line in your sand has been crossed to utilize that equipment. Or it’s just expensive shtuff your family will sell when you failed. 3. Be realistic about what you put in your go time stuff. What I mean is don’t just pack every pocket or pouch because you can. Like Mr Wranglerstar said about his carrier; its slick no need for stuff all over. Identify your mission based on your potential threat. Keep it as light as possible and use some common sense. Again great video not knocking you at all sir just trying to fill a few of what I thought might be gaps to some viewers sir. Be safe

Great video. Hopefully you don't get canceled or demonized. Because these days the simplest truth can ruin a person's life

Magnetic “buttons” on the bottom half/third of your shirt - a nice addition for faster access

Bit of a warning. Many experts advise against using the powder. Because if you have a wound that’s gushing blood. The powder is going to get flushed out as quick as you can pour it in. Inside you should use gauze impregnated with the clotting agent. Prep medic has some good videos on this topic.

This belt system is great. It’s a good copy of a model developed and produced by a Czech company 15 years ago. But this one from Unity is a better design

Good video as always. You might want to add some kind of bump cap (even an old bike or raft helmet) and some goggles. Carry them in the pack until needed. Things are getting really dicey for sure.

Excellent video!! I carry nearly identical edc bag. I use a Walther ppq m2 pellet pistol instead of the Glock 19x although I love that model Glock! Also instead of ceramic plates I have AR500 steel level IIIA body armor which also is low profile design.

You gotta get rid of that steel armor. It's not life saving if it sends spalling into your throat.

Consider adding a pair of laser safety Goggles for when protesters flash eyes to blind people. You can get a decent pair for like $60 on a high power laser website. Give you time to look away if flashed and not get blinded. Can double as regular safety Goggles too.

If your EDC is too bulky/heavy/cumbersome to always take with you then it's worthless. Thanks for the video!
