How to Survive and Identify the Ghost with NO SANITY

This is my No Sanity Guide for Phasmophobia to show you how to survive and identify the ghost even while constantly getting chain hunted. It is certainly possible to do this without smudge sticks/incense but I definitely recommend it. I will show how to prioritize which evidence, how to gather it while being constantly hunted and how to use traits to identify the ghost! Never worry about being low on sanity again!

As a professional van guy, I think the sound sensors are severely underestimated for determinating a ghost´s speed. I like to plaster the whole house with them and tell a friend to just hide in a spot far away from the ghost until it starts a hunt. Once it starts to hunt, I can hear every single footstep. We identified so many ghosts that way, even figured when and where they changed their ghost room by the order the sensors trigger. Saved us quite a lot of unessecary deaths.

Sound sensors can be useful if you have someone in the van for sure, but for solo play, there is really only 1 time i would really think they would be beneficial and that is just for listening for a light switch to turn on to rule out a mare.

@@Lil_P66I saw insym use motion sensors to test one of the ghosts abilities to roam to you, so I think that it can be useful sometimes

I did 8 successful hunts yesterday with only 1 death due to activating the music box, freaking out when the ghost appeared, and stupidly throwing the music box instead of placing it, thus triggering an instant hunt 2 meters from me. 😅 The kicker is I had watched a vid earlier in the day about how to use cursed items, including how you should absolutely NOT throw the music box after activating it. 🤦‍♂️

You are the sole reason I started getting successful hunts. I always used to die when ghosts started hunting on amateur cuz id sprint, not crouch, and get caught on an object like a fly in a web. Now that I know I have a LONG time on Amateur between flickering lights and the hunt ACTUALLY starting, it makes the game more fun and less brutally punishing.

If I want a little more chill stuff, then it will be Nightmare, because I at least love to figure out the ghosts via their traits and abilities. The No Sanity, No Evidence multiplier is around 9.62x

Can you go over a video that explains how to identify Oni and Phantom in hunts? I know during hunts, you can see the model of the Oni more, but applying it in the real game is so hard. Btw this channel has improved my investigations already so thank you for that.

If you are a beginner I don't recommend the challenge at all, you do not know enough, quickest way is check if footstep speed is fast or slow and if not then take a guess and leave. I'll be playing the challenge with viewers on Friday afternoon though

It took everything in me to not say it is Yurei, but I was like if it was a beginner player struggling to survive, they would not pick up on that so I wanted to play like we were trying to get the evidence, least I knew DOTs was our one

9:40 "I know where our hiding spot is going to be; in the garage, because I want to be far away." Why's that? Just so you have more time to break any LoS? Why would you want to be far away?

Correct you have like 3 or 4 line of sight breaks, including multiple before the hiding spot, if you hide near the ghost room there is a higher chance the ghost spotted you

I've had 3 Yurie's up to now and I'm pretty sure not a 1 used the special ability of the double door touch. The 3rd I used a different way of identifying if it was or not, also useful because it was in Maplelodge camp where there were no doors nearby. Put salt down in the doorway of the ghost room and smudge the room, if in 90 seconds the ghost doesn't do an event it wont be Yurei - the 1 I had evented 20 seconds after I did this

Yurei's on maple lodge are super annoying depending on the room they are in. I'm not sure if smudging the yurei prevents them from eventing out the room or not honestly, I know after you smudge them they cannot leave the room for 90 seconds though.

no the ghost is not attracted to incense, if you are hiding and the ghost passes you and you use it it can still blind it

Hey, I was just curious what brightness you use and also is there any benefit to crouch walking everywhere?

I have an added filter when recording that brightens it up for viewers, the screen I play on is darker, best settings for brightness is set to 250% and eye adaption on, that will make it better to see overall.

I won't lie there's been times where we are certain we just got a specific evidence like spirit box or dots and then we will try to double check it and we end up waiting ages inside trying to get the same evidence again just to be sure - then we get hunted It's frustrating because sometimes we can't consistently get a repeat of an evidence piece and that's me and my gfs downfall because we want to be sure we know the ghost before we commit to try and get pics and side objectives done

I wouldn't necessarily double check on spirit box as that's pretty straight forward, dots I can understand but you can also use other tactics to eliminate ghosts at the end like I mention

This probably isn't the right video to ask this question under, but are the doors that lock within sunny meadows treated the same as an exit door? Can any ghost touch this door, or would it need to be a Yurei ability? Any answers are appreciated!

Yes hallways doors that lock in Sunny are considered the same as exit doors, it would be a yurei, that would be pretty hard to see though as those hallways can't be ghost rooms

Never thought about this til this video when you were on about checking the spirit box between hunts... Would a Yokai be able to chain hunt straight after a hunt (regardless of the 25s) if you were spirit box testing because of its ability?

My gut tells me no, but I'm not 100% sure on that but i love that question, i never thought about that, the only thing I can think of that can make a ghost hunt earlier than 25 sec, or 20 sec for demon, is triggering a cursed hunt

You cannot rule out ghost writing ghosts on Nightmare, it would just mean ghost writing will not be one of the evidences you get

i am struggling SO BAD with UV evidence 😭😭 once i unlocked salt i was all excited, "oh it will be so much easier to say yes or no to UV now!" TWO GAMES in a row with friends, it stepped it salt, we charged that shit FOREVEEERRRR with the UV light and nothing happened, so we ruled out UV. BOTH TIMES IT WAS A FUCKING UV GHOST AHHHHHHH

UV Footprints last for like 15-30 seconds not very long, and there is a chance the ghost steps in the salt and does not move after which means you won't see UV prints at all but could still be UV. Obviously it is better to check on doors, light switches, windows because they stay longer, but it might not always be feasible.

Yurei and Jinn have sanity draining abilities, moroi has a curse that can cause sanity to drain faster

Yurei, jinn, banshee by events, mimic mimicking them, oni in event if touched, polty ability seen in room, moroi curse, these ghosts reduce sanity in much quantity and much faster else all ghosts reduce sanity
