I don't know how many people actually do this, but the idea that someone is playing Namalsk servers before they know how to build a fire is pretty funny. I respect the hustle, go big or go home

Haha for sure. I've heard of people buying the game just for Namalak because of streams they have watched. Trial by fire!

Pro Tip: Put a lit torch on the ground and then put all your wet clothes on top of it. It will dry them in like 10 seconds.

When you successfully survive in Namalsk, is when you can be sure you're really playing Dayz.

Good point. Haha when I go back to summer maps I often catch myself collecting high insulation clothing... Then I remembered.

0:31 I heard somewhere that cold affects hunger, but not thirst. Heat affects thirst, but not hunger. They had specific rates, so I don’t think it was conjecture.

I got shot shortly before my first EVR storm, I had no idea what was going on, I thought it was a special poison bullet or mortar shells, I was so confused.

I'm watching this a year later. Is this all still relevant? I plan on trying Namelsk at some point.
@Nitno2 жыл бұрын
Yes very much so! All of these survival aspects still apply. There are now some added zones, such as A3/Lantia that I also have videos for. Those are very end-game though and hard to do on an average play session.

Good video for starters but don't carry a fireplace in your backpack, it will destroy your stamina.

Can you light a campfire (like the one u make urself) inside a building?
@Nitno5 ай бұрын
The building needs to have a tall roof like a warehouse. Most places it will not work inside. To throw a curveball... some sheds with bare ground can have fires lit in them.
@il4w3 жыл бұрын
how do we make a fire work in storm though cause my sticks and kindling go damp then and it doesnt give me an option to ignite then ?
@Nitno3 жыл бұрын
I think you need to go inside, on of the brutal aspects of the storm. Sometimes you are just out of luck if you spawn in during a storm and can't make it to a shack.

Can you, or anyone else, recommend a good server?
@Nitno3 жыл бұрын
DayOne, ZERO, Spaggies, KarmaKrew.

I just downloaded DayOne, look up “smoke” on YT, all of his videos have a link on how to get started on these servers

Great video, 1 question, if there’s no worms what do u use as bait for the hook?
@Nitno3 жыл бұрын
Thank you! Good question. So basically you just have to fish with your hook, no bait. As you can imagine it takes a lot longer. So it is possible to fish, but it's sort of a pain. It works though, especially if you have a friend also fishing.
