How to Swap a Duramax Diesel into a 1971 Chevrolet K20 - Part 1

Let's kick off our Chevy K20 Duramax diesel swap build! We start out this project by fabricating and assembling the custom Art Morrison chassis for this '71 Chevrolet K20 Duramax Allison custom build. We also walk through installation of:
* Spring hangers
* Cab mounts
* Bed mounts
Lastly, we'll get the new CNC mandrel bent frame rails squared and tacked together, along with getting the cab set in place on this LBZ Duramax diesel.

Yes, we had Art Morrison build the blank frame rails for us.

And are they normal 3/4T size or did you go a little more heavy duty?

2x4 3/16" wall mandrel bent tube in front and rear of the cab. 2x6 3/16" wall tube in the center section. Much stronger than factory C-channel frame rails. Thanks for the question.

For get the Chevy build the Jeep truck and put a Cummins in it .GM had it right when the Duramax comes down they replace them if it is still under warranty if not $$$$$$. Poor customer
