Where can u find the pins . Terminal connectors ? I'm dealing with cut wires and having to replace 2 pins and can not find the pins online with out buying a whole sale or the right sizes . I really appreciate it if u can provide feedback .

Please help me on my green connector i broke white arm on connector one of the knuckles broke and one of the knuckles broke on tipm i still reconnected connector and press down red tap lock in place seems to fit snug but im worried eventually loose connection?

So, does this mean that when a tipm goes bad usually it just needs a pin changed?

Hi, this video is to show you how to replace the plug if it gets damaged. Sometimes your issue can simply be a bad connection which can be caused by a loose pin however this video is just to show you how to replace a plug if the plug gets damaged.

Not much beyond periodic inspection to make sure you're not getting corrosion or oxidization buildup around the plugs, battery / connection, etc.. (Especially if you have an 03 - 05 Dodge RAM. Always shield the tipm/electronics from water when getting an engine wash. But with TIPMs, it's pretty much a Break-Fix scenario. If something goes wrong with an electrically powered subsystem, check the fuses, and then start troubleshooting.

I bought a set of connectors from you, cus I broke to of mine (green and blue locking arms) but finding it very difficult to remove old wires from connectors, haven't even started on the ones on the van. Can't seem to push lock away with paper clip to free wire. Any helpful tips or tool?

Kevin, we've been on the lookout for source for those things for a couple of years. If you find one, let us know. It seems like such a simple thing, but finding exactly the right size/specs is tougher than it seems. What most people do is just get a used replacement plug from a salvage vehicle that still has the cut off wires ("pigtails") a few inches long, and then reuse the pigtails by just splicing it to the wire coming from the harness. Not the most elegant solution but if you slip shrink tubing over the splice first and and then hit it with a hair dryer, it makes for a pretty clean splice. Not bad if you're just doing one or two wires. We do have used plugs with pigtails for $15 for sale on our web site. Each plug comes with usually around 6 - 10 pigtails each. Try to get the same plug you're working on, so that the wire gauge of the pigtails' pins will match your project. If you really just want the pins, it might be worth calling Grainger but you'll probably want to shoot them a photo of exactly what you're looking for and know the gauge of the wire you need the pins for. We tried them a while back but who knows, might be worth another shot.
