About 25 years ago my husband and I invested in taking dancing lessons. The one dance that stuck with us and that we used most often was this East Coast Swing. We learned a few more moves: he would turn me, we would kick between each other’s legs and a few more. I’d say we learned about 5-6 moves and by mixing them up, we had a lot of fun! The company I was an independent consultant for had a big trip each year that I would earn and we would dance the nights away! Thanks for the great memories! (I’m physically disabled now, so I enjoy the memories!)

My husband and I enjoyed your class last night. For years, I've wanted to learn this kind of dance because we both love to dance but growing up in the late 80's and early 90's means that we don't know how to dance as a couple, meaning him leading and me following. Dancing in clubs back then was super fun but very individualistic. The stares were hot, though! Thank you very much for your detailed class. You got 2 new pupils from Mexico.

At my first lesson I was surprised by how little I had to move on the dance floor, for anyone else just getting into this. I kept being told to not move around so much(!) ha... The steps were really condensed. This vid cemented that and that the woman really moves around more.
