Your alter ego is terrific Kent! You could be the modern Mark Twain...well, Dickens anyway. And you're right about the tune being "square" (my Mom's favorite), but she played it stride style and it swung. Gonna study your score now and hear what I can do with it. Cool version Kent! I’m working on a bluesy/gospley version myself this week. I found a jazz arrangement that sounded to smooth to be hip but I like what you did here. Also, if someone complains about the altered dominant man, you should just block them. Who needs that whining for top notch FREE jazz lessons from a great?
