Hey awesome people,
In this video, I have invited Sarthak, Associate product manager at Phonepe. Right after college he joined ZS associates as a business technology associate and worked there for a year. Then, he directly made his career jump to Phonepe as an associate product manager.
Sarthak has very less industry experience, doesn't have an MBA and instead comes from an engineering background but still, he was able to crack this experience-intensive role purely based on his skills!

What can a person do to create credibility to be considered for an APM role? I come from a digital marketing background and I want to switch to the product role. Should I go for internships, or apply for any course? What do you suggest? Ps - Thank you for making this video. It felt really a genuine piece of information.

Build a small product on your own. Prepare case studies for the products you like. If you have time, interning is also a simple option.
