I often find that recently added events aren't showing up in the car, and flipping the sync switch off and back on fixes it immediately. I do think something is fundamentally broken, as this shouldn't be consistent problem. I haven't done extensive testing, but it feels like the app just grabs the calendar when you flip the switch and doesn't keep syncing, or if it does keep syncing, it's only once a day or so. It should be every hour or perhaps every time you unlock your car with the phone.

I regularly have a problem after updates where i lose calendar sync. If this happens I find i need to switch calendar sync off and then back on again in the app. It's a (minor) pain but it works.
