Left shoulder takeaway is a contrary thought to what you taught years ago as part of the Rotary Swing Tour style. Why switch to the opposing concept of what drove that style of swing now?

I’ve struggled a bit with this, too. For SO MANY years, RST was taught (marketed?) as the “correct” way to move, both the body and the club. Anatomical absolutes. Standardized fundamentals. Very specific physics principles (pulling instead of pushing.) Now? The new stuff just throws all of that out, completely. RST used to lament that you could see two different instructors and get polar opposite instruction- well, now we’re getting polar opposite instruction from the SAME guy… Does that mean we were we oversold on the previous stuff being the *only* correct way to swing? It feels like we’ve been told the sky is blue over and over and then one day we’re told, “Nah, the sky is green. It’s been green all along. Haven’t you noticed?” I’ve just not been sure what to think anymore, to be honest…

It sounds like there is a clicking sound on some of his swings. What is that?

The club he is using is a training aid. It has a weight sliding in the shaft. Typically, it's held in place close to the grip by a magnet, but as you swing down the forces release the weight and it clicks as it hits its stop close to the club head. The sound and feel help you get a feel for where your release is.

Did you wake up looking for something to complain about? The video actually talked about exactly what the wording on the thumbnail said which half the time is rare for instructional videos these days on it seems. Funny you actually knew who the girl in the image was though when it doesn't show her face, I had no clue. Stalking her? :D
