For a premolar Bite Wing you should put the film along the other canine of the arch...you'll get the distal in your radiograph for sure!

When I used to go to the dentist in my teens, the thicker side would be stabbing tf into my gums. The assistant never did that bending thing.

If a pt has wisdom teeth where should you put the edge of the film at and do you still line it up with the corner of her eye? please help thank you so much for the great videos

Yes! You will line it up the same. It may not get the distal of the wisdom tooth on the film but it should get the contact between the third and second molar.

Once you have placed the cone perpendicular to what degree, vertically, do you angle the cone for both demonstrates or do you keep it at 0* for both?

Are the contacts open on the radiograph when you use these methods? that's my biggest challenge

+Margarita Lopez Yes this seems to help. The main tip in the video to get the contacts open is not treating the head like it is a square but like a triangle and lining the tube head up perpendicular to the face. Hope it helps best of luck!!
