Never Cosign for anyone especially a vehicle. I cosigned for a niece and she has racked up more than $2,000 in tickets mostly EzPass and now I can't renew my registration because her vehicle has red flags all over it including driving without insurance. Taking advantage of a senior citizen.

Because you have a different finance company and their name has to go on the title.
