মাননীয় রাজ্যপাল/মুখমন্ত্রী /শিক্ষা মন্ত্রী , আমরা গভর্নমেন্ট কলেজ অফ আর্ট এন্ড ক্র্যাফট, কলকাতা এর অচলাবস্থা সম্পর্কে আপনাকে অবগত করতে চাই যে, অধিকাংশ বিভাগে বিশেষ করে painting (Indian Style), printmaking, wood and leather, ceramic, history of art ইত্যাদি বিষয়ে টিচার ঘাটতি এর জন্য সৃষ্ট হয়েছে অচলাবস্থা l অনেক শিক্ষক পদ খালি পরে আছে বছরের পর বছর ধরে l বেশির ভাগ শূন্য পদ গুলো SC, ST, OBC, PWD দের জন্য সংরক্ষিত, তারা চরমতম ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত হচ্ছে নিয়োগ না হবার দরুন, UGC- NET, PH. D করার পরও উক্ত বিভাগ গুলোতে 7 বছর ধরে নতুন কোনো advertisement বেরোয়নি, কিন্তু 25 এর অধিক শিক্ষক পদ খালি পড়ে আছে l ফাইন-আর্টস, ভিজ্যুয়াল আর্টস এর চাকুরী খুবই সীমিত তারওপর ও বছরের পর বছর ধরে উক্ত খালি শিক্ষক পদগুলো পরে আছে শুধু মাত্র কিছু সুবিধা লোভী ব্যাক্তিদের জন্য ll কিছু নন -কোয়ালিফায়েড আর্টিস্ট দের সুবিধা করে দেওয়ার জন্য শিক্ষক পদের নূন্যতম যোগ্যতার অবনমনের চেষ্টার জন্য উক্ত পদগুলোতে নিয়োগ হচ্ছে না PSC এর মাধ্যমে l 2016 সালের পর আজ প্রয্যন্ত গভর্নমেন্ট কলেজ অফ আর্ট এন্ড ক্র্যাফট থেকে অনেক শিক্ষক রিটায়ারড নিয়েছেন বয়স জনিত কারণে কেউ বা স্ব-ইচ্ছায় ছেড়ে দিয়েছেন শিক্ষকতার চাকুরী কিন্তু উক্ত খালি পদগুলোতে নিয়োগের জন্য আর কোনো পদক্ষেপ গ্রহণ করা হয়নি এর জন্য বর্তমান ছাত্রছাত্রীরা ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত হচ্ছে l ছাত্র ছাত্রীরা সংশ্লিষ্ট কিছু সাবজেক্ট না শিখেই দিনের পর দিন ডিগ্রী নিয়ে বেরোচ্ছে এটা শুধু একটা কলেজ এর ঘটনা মাত্র l সরাসরি dpi, Government of West Bengal দ্বারা পরিচালিত কলেজ আজ মৃতপ্রায় l আপনার কাছে অনুরোধ উপযুক্ত ব্যবস্থা গ্রহণ করে উক্ত পদগুলোতে WBPSC এর মাধ্যমেদ্রুততার সহিত নিয়োগ করে ছাত্র স্বার্থ রক্ষা করুন |

madam many religious students wants fine art degree but want to avoid naked study or naked figure drowing classes, In this situation which department they can choose where nudity isn't exists in any form. Kindly describe this can helpful for all religious Indian students.

I have some religious friend ( both Muslim and Hindu women ) they are great artist but when they attend entrance exam they found the 1st practical exam is common for everyone. For religious reason and personal believe they begged professors to give them clothed model saying they will get admission on other department. But professors yelled on them unprofessionally and told them this is compulsory for all 7 department. There professors said them ---" agar itni hi dharmik ho hamere najar ki samne se nikal jao!! , avi se itni problem to age ki classes kaise karogi,!!!! students aj kal apni marji j volunteer karti hai, khud nude pose deti h taki junior student sikh seke our tumlogo se to project tak submit nahi ho payaga jaisa dekh raha hun!!!" teachers yelled them rather then supporting and told many offensive things on that spot. There dream to be artist is broken now. I show your video in KZbin and that's why I asked this question. Is any art college exists in India where nude study is not in compulsory or foundation course or any department where they can try. Then please reply. They tried there best by calling helpline and visiting websites of govt art colleges but failed, you are experienced and senior then my friends. If you know any art college where nude study isn't completely in syllabus then please reply, I just show my friends in tears after that heart broken incident and wanna help them, I don't have informations but may be you have. 🙏

@@monidas9913 look it is not like that you r saying.. there is no nude model study at the admission test time. There is normal model /human figure drawing study for admission test. Even not in 1st year of foundation.. after 1st year u will get some classes. But it totally depends on the department u choose. If u choose Painting department then there is many class. If u choose Design departments u will get less .. if u want u may not attend that classes. But there no N, study at the admission test time

@Aparna Gayen Creations I'm just saying what my friends told me with load of tear. May be you got good teachers around you in your college. My friend even tried textile and graphic design but teacher told them this is compulsory for all department even for wood and leather . I have cross cheque this topic several time with them to find right department for them. But sorrowfully it seems in this man ruled world male teachers are interested with humen body more then their main topic. I'm not arguing with you I just requested for help. But your answer also saying there is less classes on other department but exists. actually there is always shortage of models that's why this isn't possible to arrange a nude model for every exam. But this is 100% true what situation run over to my friends. actually I'm also a women and I know the most expansive thing for women's is their pride, but all male professors don't worried about that. 😔 I'm happy, your teachers was good and they gave chance to skip classes but everyone is not same.

Nude model study is literally a first step to all artists who draw figures . So the teacher was definitely right . Art college is a place where every student goes to study art without any mindset boundary .so definitely u need to prioritise ur art over ur religion . There is no figure sketching or painting artist who has never seen a nude model .
