By the time states figure out how to disburse the extra $600 a week in unemployment businesses will be back up and running. I don't honestly believe anyone will actually see that. I think states will stall to get out of paying it. And then they can say "people don't need it, they are back at work". Its pure bs I got approved I can request my first payment today but guess what guys after waiting two weeks after submitting my application just to be approved now after submitting my first payment I am in a waiting week meaning we won't get paid for the first week then next week when I submit my next payment guess what they have to send it to the TWC us bank and then the bank has to mail you out a card which can take 3-10 buisness days for u to receive and guess what it will only be for one week all in all from start to finish from the day you file for unemployment to the day you will receive your very first one week payment is a total of 4-6 weeks guess what rents due now tomorrow matter a fact who has 4-6 weeks to wait for a one week payment that's already less than half of what we were making at work as is Not to mention you have to wait another two weeks before u can get a full payment again from unemployment all in all unemployment will put you two months behind who has two months to spare when our livelihoods with our rent and our cars and grocery's electricity and utilities are on the line!!!!???

DGOE JVZ Filed my last day worked was the 18th filed on the 19th. Was given a decision that next week, got my first unemployment check yesterday. I was told around the middle of April that Washington state would have their system updated and we should be receiving the extra $600. They’re supposed to also go back to when your first filed so I should get three checks for $600 if it’s the middle of April.

@@monmixer I don't understand what you mean as the gift will disappear for middle class, but corporations will remain. Do you know why our economy was doing so well and why wages were climbing so much over the last couple of yrs? Trump lowered corporate taxes and got rid of many regulations that hurt small businesses. If we can attract corporations from around the world to come here and build factories with low taxes and great "gifts" this will help middle class more than anyone else. They would have to pay good wages, because everyone would have a job , so you would have business fighting over workers. This drives up wages. McDonald's pays 11 dollars hr now in Michigan . 12 in some bigger cities.

Teach 'em. Teach 'em how to drain the system, bring it to its knees. Hyperinflation, coming to a town near you. Since anyone with a brain that knows anything about economics knows that your unemployment check will soon not buy you a loaf of bread if these trends continue... its time to start thinking outside the box. If you lost a menial job, maybe there was a reason for it. Go get an essential one. In the meantime, call up your friends, family, relatives, see if if anyone needs a hand with anything.
