I can't get the feet out so I can't fix my L button :( I just bought it on ebay and the seller said all the buttons worked. Nothing about the L button getting stuck.

I'm having problems with my DSi; I managed to fix the R button, but now as a result of something that went wrong with reassembly, now if I pinch the system near the power button (both the back and front simultaneously), the system turns off even though I didn't actually press the power button! I think it might be with screwing too tight but I've tried loosening it and now I'm worried I might have damaged the power button or something. Also, there's a minor bit of distortion in the sound, more noticeable the higher the volume is. Would new speakers fix this?

This was helpful, I bought a used XL cheap off Ebay and it was rather dirty when I got it. I took it apart and gave all the external parts a good Simple Green scrubdown in the kitchen sink.

Well, why foes everybody think it's so hard to do this, or that it's bad? This is how things are. I have a dsixl and took mine apart to replace the mini fuse and LCD panel, not to mention change the shell from bronze to lime.

You could not play a prank on your friend by mixing up the buttons, they have special design for each hole so they don't get mixed up by mistake. ...So if you are a prankster I recommend taking picture of your ass and butting that on your friends screen instead of wasting time taking there console apart and voiding there warranty. I know you were only kidding.. but what ever :) hehe

I’ve had some stubborn motherboard connectors before, but I just broke my first one ever and I feel like an idiot… I just straight up ripped one of the connectors for the battery PCB off cuz I had no clue how it worked (OH MY GOD WTF WHY IS IT LIKE THAT) My fault for trying to tear it down with just text instructions and not just coming to this video first, but I’ve never broken any other connector out of the many devices I’ve torn down. Be careful, guys.
