God I wish they would make it simple for us and just put two screws on each end. Phillips But no they want to make us struggle.

I really hate all the scale car makers for that. Hopefully someone, someday will teach them a lesson and will have her/his own scale car maker with a screw on each end and make it easy for everyone just to swap the wheels

A small carbide ball or carbide drill bit works best and will eat that metal up. If you customize alot it's worth the money and keep it cool with some oil or even just water.

Hi. I recently got into this hobby. I borrowed my dad's Dremel to open up my rx7 but it doesn't seem like I'm making any progress. I also asked my dad to help me drill but he also made no progress. Power is NOT everything! I have been getting better results with a hand driven drill bit in a hand grip than a drill. As for your tool of choice in the video congratulations getting one that worked. I bought the same one from good old Harbor Freight and it would NOT even power up! The worst part is when I returned it the guy looked surprised that I actually expected it to work.

You definitely need to learn how to use tools before doing a video, never grab the business end of anything, and then you had your bad on the power end, and that razor, take care of that cars paint when taking it apart, even if your going to repaint the body you still don’t want scratches in it. And I hope your wearing glasses of some sort.

Jaime Vasquez the reason it was 9 minute is because he was being helpful and saying what he used and getting prepared so really it would take around 3 minutes

No the dremel is the bare minimum you can use. I now use a 20V drill now which makes it so much easier . I will post a new video soon!

They’re called rivets. And they suck. I restore real cars for a living and I encounter them on some stuff.

Yes rivets indeed ... in this case a 9/64 drill bit handles them well... i made a mew video using a drill as opposed to a dremel enjoy

I destroyed my nissan skyline by trying to put nail polish on its tailights tried to remove then with vipes and it destroyed one of my shinning rim, I am deviated that nissan skyline from fast and furious was a rarer piece...
