Perfect, just what I was looking for. I hate taking Taxi's for the many obvious reasons. Thanks.

How can I signal the bus driver to stop? Is there a specific gesture I should use, or a particular phrase I should say to the driver or conductor?

Hello. How long is the Old Quarter from the airport ? Does this bus make several stops ? The last...should I buy SIM card and exchange money at the airport ? Thank you so much.
@walkingwithcam Жыл бұрын
Hi! I think it took about 45 min to an hour for me to reach old quarters that day. Ya the bus made a few stops on the way. I changed money and had a wifi device from my home country before I set off, so I didn't notice if there was any money changer or SIM card seller at the airport. Hope the above helps! 🙂

Thanks for share, So, the correct bus stop name of Old Quarters is?
@walkingwithcam8 ай бұрын
Hi, I cannot remember seeing the bus station name appear on the led panel on the bus. I suggest u on Google map and when the bus is near your hotel u can get ready to get off..

hi , for couples which one better using bus or by grab to old quarter ? do tou know the where grab stand on hanoi airport ?
@walkingwithcam10 ай бұрын
Hi, I think if u r on a budget then take bus, if u have many luggages take grab. I m not sure where the grab stand is, but there are many taxi drivers outside the airport waiting for passengers, maybe you can ask them the price? 😊

What's hotel you stayed before? So, what's the name of the bus stop is nearest to your hotel ?
@walkingwithcam Жыл бұрын
I stayed at Atrium Hotel on the first day, I was supposed to stop near the Old Quarters but I missed the bus stop haha. My advise is key in your hotel name on the Google map and when the bus is near your hotel just alight if someone else also alight. Because the driver will not tell u the bus stop name..

How about Old Quarters to Hanoi Airport?
@walkingwithcam11 ай бұрын
Sorry I didn't do any video from old quarters to Hanoi airport, as bus 86 runs in a loop, so I guess you can take the bus from around the area you dropped off. Alternatively you can ask the hotel staff on where the bus stop is, which is what I did because I changed hotel on my last day :)

In return from City to Airport where exactly to get that bus ?
@walkingwithcam Жыл бұрын
Hi, I asked the hotel reception staff on where was the nearest bus stop for this bus. Apparently there are many smaller bus stops that are not listed in the websites, so it's best to ask the locals. 😊
