Our dog Champ was diagnosed with mega esophagus 1 month ago...he turns 10 years next month. It is defiantly an emotional journey.

I adopted a German Shepherd who has Maga Esophagus. His previous owner didn't want him because it was too expensive to maintain him. But with my experience with dogs who had Mega Esophagus problems I went to the Dog Rescue Shelter and took my dog home with me. I already have the Bailey Chair. At first he really freaked out by being put into his chair. But now it's six years and he is still going strong. You guys are really blessed.

@bohemoth1 - would you mind sharing your experiences as to what is most helpful? My seniors dog just got diagnosed and I feel beyond lost and scared. I have another senior dog and one young dog. I grew up with the seniors and they are the loves of my life. She was running and jumping just the day before the regurgitation started. Are loud gurgling sounds common in ME dogs? Do you know what they mean? Also thank you for this video! It gave me hope!

I just found out about my 8 week old American pit puppy yesterday from the vet, it left me in shambles as they made it seem like she wasn’t going to make it, I really appreciate you sharing your experience it gives me a lot of hope and I will do whatever it take to make my baby love a healthy, and happy life I refuse to put her down.

I have enjoyed your videos! Thank you for the humor, we all need that! I have a 2 yr. old Yorkie I rescued off of Craig’s list and a Foster 6 month old GSD that have Megaesophagus. I am thinking the Foster will be a Foster Fail, we have come to love her and she thinks she is in her forever home.

Oh thanks...my kitten has been diagnosed last week and im having some morning's when her saliva is stuck on her chest area and I didn't know what to do about it... ascwhen I feer her like that she throws everything up the whole day!!! Even the vetschadvno answers except not to feed her when shesvlike that.. But I will try to docwhat you said ans see if it helps... Thanks hugs tovher fur babies ❤
