It could be difficult but at the end it depends can you take good care of your dog? Because you have to look after your dog while doing your study as well and none of the things should collide and taking care of a dog could be a challenge and that might distract you from your studies! I would definitely do not recommend this but yes most of the time theres nothing to worry but also there are chances your pup's ear buds could be destroyed, there could be excessive stress and anxiety due to fear of sound but there are few things you can do to make this situation easy, just keep distracting your pup whenever there is a drill sound or something that is loud, do it by showing a treat, toy or turn the tv volume up so he is distracted there rather than the drill sound, you can use music and what more and you can get a anxiety wrap for your dog which will help your pup to overcome the fear :) I'm glad I could help! If you ask me its not about the breed but its about how you train them, if you house train them properly they can be left alone for a maximum for a 6-8 hours but if you left them alone more than their capacity it could lead to many stomach problems for your dog because that dog is holding its pee and poop for 6-8 hours for you and they cannot do it more than this but still there are some dogs suitable to be left alone for more hours - French Bulldog, Beagles, Golden Retrievers, Basset Hounds, Boston Terrier, Chow Chow and many more! From my personal experience after owning both breeds and indie recuses. That freedom has been ingrained in them. They love to run around. Indies are very energetic dogs. And I have also fostered a few over the years. 1. Indies have a higher tendency to develop separation anxiety specially if it's a rescue. Because after dealing with problems they tend to gravitate towards us. They do so lesser when they have a bigger house to run around and keep them busy but in apartments they do tend to feel lonely and the memory hits back specially in a closed home 2. After generations of having spent outdoors they are free spirited. My current baby is very very intelligent picks up things very quickly but then decided to go do his own shit when he doesn't agree. So as long as you are giving them proper walks and by walk i don't mean send them with a servant to just make them poop on roads and bring him back but actually running with them in open and giving them their free playing time with you, they will get adjusted soon. Indies are very trainable and yes they have aggressiveness but if you train them right they are very intelligent. All the pups we fostered before giving away still remember us 🥲

We have already shifted to our new apartment .I also thought about seperating a few times , like giving him to our relatives/people he knows so that he wouldn't feel too lonely. But we finally decided to keep him coz seperating is just sad. We are currently keeping him under our bed (don't be mad) he loves to sleep in small places :p. We take him on walks 3 times daily and he romes around freely on the streets and comes when we call for him so that's a bonus . We still have to train our labrador tho. Btw he hates to bath too so can you kindly tell me how many times i should bath him in a month? It would be appreciated :)

@@xubh_na so glad to hear that :) haha. Mine needs every alternate day cleaning because he loves playing in dirt and puddles. He goes out in chai colour comes back as esspresso. I guess if you brush regularly once a week should be fine in summers or normal season. Can be less frequent in winters. Maybe once or twice a month. Indies tend to stink less imo. Maybe its just my dog. But I think my GSD and indie stink lesser (actually very very minimal) than my previously owned lab.

@@xubh_na there are also dry shampoos available now for dogs. I use the one from Himalaya. Just spray and wipe (some dogs hate being sprayed upon so just spray it on a cotton towel/wipe and clean his dirty areas)

If you are looking for a happy and a healthy beagle puppy like mine you must buy it from a breeder, they can be a little expensive but at the end they are worth it and what you can do is either search on net for the breeders nearby or If you don't know any breeders near your Locality (Delhi), nothing to worry! I certainly wouldn't recommend golden retriever in a 1bhk since they are a pretty large breed and they need their space accordingly but yes if your hall is big and you have a certain place for a golden retriever to fit well, you can surely go for the breed but yes remember your 1bhk house cannot be the playground for your dog! You have atleast take your dog outside 3 times a day since your dog won't be able to play freely at your house! I'm glad I could help! Thanks alot :)
