I couldn't agree more, I am a winter driver of a 26 X 4 and Himiway couldn't have put it any better than that, I take my batteries in after every ride when it's hovering around freezing, my bike is stored in an unheated shed so the battery (s) come in the house and if they need charging I give them one, if not I take them back out for my next ride. I have a Rize X, they absolutely love the snow but like everything but a pair of skates hate the ice, studs help but are expensive.

Yes, as long as you have a quality built battery that has a qualified UL listing, no pne should be eorried about bringing a battery indoors during extreme cold or heat. Hope you get to have some great winter rides.

Aloha. I bet Hawaii has a lot of nice and beautiful places to ride year around. I remove my batteries for charging too. Just seems easier to pull them off and put them on my work bench for charging. Have a great week and hope you get some good riding in.

@@theridewithlance...Yeah, we do. Unfortunately, the bike that I have now came from China thru local dealer! IF i knew as much Then as I now know, would've purchased Eunorau. Not gonna complain coz this bike has been good to me >18mos. But it's underpowered-36v 13Ah/250w rear-hub motor. It's great for riding around coz majority is flat land. But, on occasion, need to travel down 12-15% grade hill that gives me problems on the return trip!-lol...Not Good!(Sticks to me like defective seat post!)-LOL. have been searching on-line & VERY companies will Ship To Hawaii, citing battery safety concerns, which is understandable. So far, only E-Cells & Ghostcat ship to 808 w/S&H charges

Will the bike perform the same when you are draining it down or will the bike slow down?

In my experience with the RadRover 6 Plus, and the Himiway Zebra, I hhave full power until about the last 15% of the battery. That's about the time I start to see the watts drop on the display resulting in less power to the motor. I am thinking it is pretty much the same for all ebikes with quality batteries like the LG and Samsung.
