I would recommend not dousing your clutch in wd40 i feel like it would absord into the clutch shoes and make them slip i would recommend useing brake cleaner. And that bar you dont know the name of in English is called a spindle
@RedExions2 жыл бұрын
It's okay, I always completely degrease it with brake cleaner afterwards

This was the exact video I was looking for! Is there a general rule for where you use brake cleaner or WD40 to clean?
@thomaspalmer79522 жыл бұрын
Personally I use WD40 for basic stuff (like chassis, body) and for the bearings and all moving parts (except engine) I use grease and lube
@RedExions2 жыл бұрын
I pretty much use both on almost every object, first brake cleaner for heavy grease and WD40 to finish

Is there an easy way to get the rear wheel hubs off? I always have to use a hammer and a piece of wood or something to smash it off, I loosened the bolt as far as it will go but it just won't slide as easily as your wheel hub in the video.
@alekstimm2 жыл бұрын
Use a wood block and a hammer, you can also tap flat head screwdriver into the slot in the hub to open it up
@RedExions2 жыл бұрын
You really need to take good care of it from day 1, that is the only way to keep it sliding smoothly

Hi, I’m a junior waiting to move up to seniors. Is the rotax max better and easier to operate compared to an x30? Thanks
@thomaspalmer79522 жыл бұрын
As far as maintenance, rotax is king in terms of time between rebuilds, but bc the engine is sealed you can’t rebuild it on ur own, while X30 has less time between rebuilds but you can rebuild the top end ab 5-7 times (if u know what you’re doing) for the same price as 1 rotax top end rebuild. But as far as ease of use, rotax seems like it’s king
