You know that most rounds labeled as “practice” in WT are just ball rounds, right? I’m not certain how ball rounds are modeled in-game, but IRL they would actually be better than AP rounds against non-armored targets, as they have a greater likelihood of deforming, tumbling, self-spalling, etc.

This is absolutely the right decision! Wellington is a very durable aircraft. Because of its design, it has excellent survivability. The aircraft is a mid-wing monoplane. The basis of the steel frame of the fuselage was 8 power frames connected by 4 tubular stringers. Diagonally located numerous light thin profiles were attached to them, forming a shape and giving the structure lightness and simultaneous strength. On top of the geodetic set, non-powered wooden stringers were attached, on which linen sheathing was stretched. This design gave the aircraft extraordinary survivability, since each element of the geodetic set could take the load of other elements, including those from the opposite side of the fuselage. Therefore, Wellingtons could return from sorties with huge damage, fatal for other types of aircraft.

A someone who mains bombers, i can say the most efficient way of taking the bombers down are to slam yourselves into the bombers. Make sure you’re lined up, though. I once dove my plane down and someone with bad aim crashed into the trees while chasing me

I used to play war wings back in the day, and the more colour on the ammunition the more destructive it is, the ammunition colour i always choose is Red. Blue. And yellow, and it was very destructive

Depends on the guns. For 109’s, yeah air target belts are the only thing you should be using in your 20mm cuz of the Minengoschoß round. For something like a Yak with your shvak 20mm, ground target belts are the way to go

I'm a very experienced bomber pilot, or at least planes with defensive guns. I find having AP belts (or armored targets belts)(whichever one has the best ap shot - incendiary) are best for penetrati g the front and side of incoming aircraft, whereas just incendiary ends up turning the front engine black, AP actually takes it out

No, it is not true, is you play Arcade (as shown in the video), the best is Stealth.. Air Target has the same ammunition as Stealth, only it additionally has tracer ammo that is not necessary if you play in Arcade, because you have a guide that tells you where you should shoot. Therefore, if you use Stealth, you will have more ammo that will do more damage in the same period of time.
