HOW TO TAKE DOWN A PREDATOR

Steven Hiscoe Shihan is an 8th degree black belt in Can-Ryu Jiu-Jitsu and 30+ year law enforcement officer. Here he demonstrates to a group of kids a technique that can be used to take an adult down. This is called a one leg takedown This video was taken during the 1 day Survival Academy for Kids given in Chilliwack, BC at Hiscoe Jiu-Jitsu.

This take down def works. My coaches 12 year old son took me down with this take down a couple weeks ago. We just call it a low single.

Awsome!!! It is good to see someone teaching legitimate self defence for kids!! Most Kids Martial arts classes don't actualy prepare them for anything other than competitions against other kids. Keep up the good work!!
