As A Plumber From Mauritius The Hole Should Be On Top But The Fitting You Have Use Is Of METAL And May Take Rust With Time Which Can Use Intestin Disease Due To Rusty Circulation Water You Should Use Polipipe And Septor Brass Fitting With Sealtape And The Problem If A Big Rock Fall On The Side Or A Vehicle Tyre May Run On It And Break It..!

In Andhrapradesh & Telangana States , of India, Municipal Corporation authorised personnel can give drinking water connection. General Public should not connect drinking water from Municipal pipeline on their own. Is an offence. comment by 78yrs man.

ऊपर कनेक्शन करने से मोनोब्लॉक एयर नहीं लेता है बल्कि इनको मेन लाइन में दो या ढाई इंच का पाइप और उतारना चाहिए इससे पाइप में पानी का उतार चढ़ाव ऊपर या नीचे होने पर मोनोब्लॉक प्रॉपर पानी निकलता रहेगा @@batullahkhan8096
