I’ve recently gotten the game and have been playing for a month and your videos have been helping me improve so much, but recently I have been losing all my gunfights. My kd went from a 1.2 to a 0.9 and Ive been playing how I’ve always been playing but now I’m starting to lose more due to it. I have been in a giant slump because of this and feel so demotivated. I’ve been watching these tip videos and slowly take in the information but it still isn’t enough. I don’t know what’s holding me back but I’m trying to keep composure because I don’t want to quit on this game. I would also like to mention that I solo queue most of the time because only some of my friends play, but can’t play ranked or don’t like playing ranked. I just need some help to get out of this situation because I love this game and it isn’t fun when you try to play and you’re losing or getting angry from it. I’ve been taking more breaks now and again but every time I come back to the game the outcome of dying or losing a gunfight is always the same. I would love to hear your thoughts and opinions because I am getting really frustrated from this little epidemic I’ve been going through.

It's definitely in your head. You think about it even when you are in the game. Let it go. Don't overthink it. Record your gameplay and see what did you do wrong and practice it or atleast talk about what you did wrong. Plus when you solo Q it's just hard. It's hard to push alone and get kills and win. Come up with solo q strats. I have a video on that. Go from somewhere that they don't hold like basement or all the way top floor with a preplaced drone. Don't worry you get it done❤️😁

Have you tried new controls, sensitivities and settings? I optimized my game and have new controls and do extremely well most games sometimes it’s playing smart too. Drone before entering prefire common angles .

another bit of advice: watch your match replays and watch the perspective of the enemies when they kill you. then you can really see how you might have exposed your body, if you were predictable, etc.

When i think of movement, which is mnk's biggest challenge, i think of quick peaking for info, preaiming angles without overexposure, and counter-strafing. Counter-strafing comes natural as its easier to aim with movement, but the other two, i see so many clutches due to movement and peaking for info without overexposure, and on the flipflop so many die by wide-swinging an angle without info and just hoping they can react due to lack of good movement. Take some time off, put on your fav playlist and practice movement in thunt for a few hours and you'll vastly improve your gameplay. Also turn on headshot only in matchmaking preferences to get better at crosshair placement and accuracy in general.

Get into the map near site with confidence and take map control in an important room next to site with drones. You can put a drone for flank watch and then pressure the defenders on site. Make sure to drone and then just try to win the gun fights. You can also surprise the enemies with nokk by just going basically next to or even into site really quickly into the round by taking an uncommon route. So don't go into a main door but rather a side window or something a bit away from site, an uncommon roam spot. And if you sneak towards site then make sure to carefully listen to sound cues of roamers to not get killed off guard. Run with ADS. This works a lot in average elo lobbies or below

Each time you breakdown what you do in a gun fight I learn something new. I have that problem all the time where I’m peeking one angle and then see someone on an off angle. They swing, I die. It’s the same old song and dance. I’m going to try pulling back into cover and prefiring where they will swing instead of trying to overcommit to a swing on them, or swinging back and holding an angle, or backing up and then trying to reswing their original position (all of which get me killed every time).

I think k the most uncommon thing people talk about but what alot of people do hint at "you did say it" is not being in the last place a person can check can't tell u how many time I see a person just being in the corner of the room from the door and they clear the whole room and it's just right there it's basically a free kill

This info is all well and good but when I start shooting before the enemy and hit every shot that comes out the end of my death dealer but Ubisoft hit registration god dictates that none of those shots did in fact do a single point of damage despite the blood flying out of their player model and the sounds of them screaming in pain because they had like 10 higher ping than me and despite the fact I Swiss cheesed them at point blank before they even saw me, they turn and shoot me dead effortlessly and teabag me as if they actually did something when in reality the hit registration higher powers saved their life

And it isn’t even a skill issue because I’ve had my own team mates go “how the fuck is their health still that high” after I’ve blasted someone only for my bullets to just serve as noise to tell the enemy where to look, rather than actually killing them like they’re supposed to

You guys on PC look different shooting from most controller players . When a 3 health opponent is moving side to side in an unpredictable manner at medium to long range, it’s not the easiest thing to hit those shots. When you do it , it feels good.

Was looking for actual tips. You just said things ppl should know on day 1 imho. It's hard to believe ppl can be that bad, but i guess there are ppl like that. In conclusion, the way to actually win 1v1s or 1v2s is literally just by being quiet. It's not hard to aim, and it's not hard to kill. All you need is information and better internet than your opponent so you get first shot. These tips are for general gameplay and whatever this guy says, sitting still holding an angle is going to work 90% of the time. Ppl who push, die. Then after that your dog teammates won't be able to clean up. Just watch cameras, and ping enemies for yourself so you can kill them yourself. Champ isn't hard to get, Console or PC. And if you actually want to improve, you need a 5 stack.
