I would, yes. I too took this course as a beginner to programming. I had built websites with Wordpress previously but Wordpress ≠ programming. This course started at super basics, gave me the in-depth understanding of programming concepts, I am now able to understand more complex courses because of this. Also true that the course gets difficult over time. There were multiple week questions that I wasn’t understanding initially, so I looked for other people’s solutions to the questions, understood how they solved it, then tried to do it my own way and progressed. Just one advice my friend: This is a wonderful course. Programming is difficult, but that is what makes it worth it. It gives you the power to bring to life whatever it is that you envision. If it were easy, everyone would do it. You got this, mate. The best part is that as you persist through the difficult lessons and assignments, your will get more comfortable with the material. I recommend you start watching the lectures on KZbin. All the lectures are available on the “CS50” channel. Watch a few lectures. Ultimately, when you start taking the course, you’ll have to rewatch those lectures to understand everything. But when we rewatch, we understand better. I too have rewatched many lectures multiple times. My goal was to make my programming base strong, so if it requires me to watch a lecture more than once, so be it. I recommend you start right away. Watch the lectures on your phone for now using the KZbin channel. Later when you get your laptop, enroll and begin working on the assignments. Good luck bro, and thank you for the support! 🙌

Hi, bro can you make a proper and complete video on "Harvard's CS50 Introduction to Artificial Intelligence with Python" free certification. Including all the steps that how to complete every single step and every and each step to upload tasks or projects, and also guide how to complete projects step by step and submit them step by step. For data science I recommend you follow this order: 1. www.edx.org/learn/python/harvard-university-cs50-s-introduction-to-programming-with-python 2. www.edx.org/learn/probability/harvard-university-fat-chance-probability-from-the-ground-up 3. www.edx.org/learn/data-science/harvard-university-introduction-to-data-science-with-python When you complete these three courses in order, you will have a strong grasp of the majority of the concepts used in Data Science and AI. You could as well directly go to course 3, but I strongly recommend you take the first two before you take the third one because that will set you apart from all other aspirants in your field. Of course, you should also have a look at your options, but this would be a pretty good path to attaining really good understanding of everything. Good luck, brother!

Hi bro, iwatched several videos on this topic and some people suggested taking Intro to Python first as its more beginner friendly. What is your advice?

Those people are right, Rocky. Starting for Python is easier, it is a more high level language. It is easier because when you start with Python, you don't really need to understand the fundamentals of how logic is working when you program. The benefit of that will be that you'll be able to build machine learning models and programs faster. However, the problem will begin when you try to learn a different language. You will not really know what is happening under the hood. At some point in your career, which will be sooner than you think, you'll have to learn a different language which will not be as high level as Python. Then you'll struggle to grasp what's actually happening. At that point, you'll have to learn the fundaments because those are what remain consistent with all the languages-the fundamentals. So why not learn them right now? Still, if you are fine with having to learn it later, then go for Python. If you'd like to build a strong foundation, I'd recommend you start with CS50x. And of course, inside CS50x you'll also be taught some Python along with other languages.

Yes bhai, absolutely. If you solve and submit the assignments and get over 70% in your overall assignments, you’ll be eligible for the free certificate from Harvard University. Read the very first paragraph of this page for more details: cs50.harvard.edu/x/2024/certificate/

You won’t have to enroll again and again, it will automatically save your assignments and progress. You will have to complete your assignments and submit. That’s all. No enrolling required after the first time.

Truth be told, yes it will be hard. The beginning few week's assignments will be pretty easy, but in the later weeks things will get difficult. The thing you should understand is that things get difficult not only for someone who is just starting out, but for most people. So the key here is to try to: 1. Rewatch the lectures to understand everything 2. Find other people's solution, see how they solved a problem, understand, apply the same problem solving to solve the problem yourself. (no copy paste because that's not allowed) Also, things will get easier as you keep doing this. Programming is hard, that is what makes it worth it. If it were easy, everyone would do it, and then there would be no value in doing it. So keep up through the hardship, mate. You've got this. Good luck!

If you’re just starting out, take the one I have shown in the video, which is “CS50: Introduction to Computer Science” After you take this, then if you want, you can take any other you like.

There's a KZbin video called cs50 course from Harvard with over 25 hours. Does it have all the informations that the website offers.? In other way should i take the course from the website or watch the KZbin video

Yes all the videos are available on KZbin. You can watch them on KZbin but you’ll need to use their website for the getting the assignment details and finally submitting them. Also you’ll have to have created an edX account in the beginning to be able to submit your assignments. So get the edX account first, watch the lectures on KZbin if you want to, then use the site for assignment details and submission.

You could say so but it really doesn’t matter. The purpose of a certificate is to show that you completed a course or program. Both the certificates do that. Besides the different branding, there is no difference between the two.

You can take the course on KZbin, but without the edX account you won’t be able to get the free certificate. So you’ll need to create the edX account bro. Create the account, then do the entire course using KZbin and their assignment page and you’ll be able to get the certificate. IMPORTANT: You’ll need the edX account for the free certificate.

Oh yes, MrKayesIslam. The only difference is the issuer of the certificate. One is issued by edX (for which you have to pay), and the other is issued by Harvard University itself (which is free). The only way to get the Harvard issued certificate is by completing the assignments, so it will prove that you've actually taken the course. Moral of the story: You can confidently go for the free Harvard certificate.

nah bro you just submit your every week problem set and your github our visual studio will auto save it for u. 11 weeks in total and a final assignment is required to get a certificate.

1. Well, first, not necessarily. David (the instructor) doesn't really use complex words. The words that sound complex in the later weeks are computer related words which he explains while teaching. So no, communication shouldn't be a problem if you know basic English. 2. Yes and no. "No" because you might be able to find better explanation of the topics David teaches on KZbin. And "yes" because almost none of the videos you find here on KZbin will be properly structured to take you from very basics to advance level while connecting everything properly. And when we are just starting out, you don't know what you don't know. You won't know what concepts to look on KZbin for. So my best advice would be to take a course such as CS50 itself which is structured and well taught over trying to find bits and pieces on KZbin. Goodluck, Divyanshu!

At a normal pace, 10-12 weeks. You can complete it even quicker if you take the lessons and do the assignments faster. I did it around 2 weeks.

Get your facts right bro before you criticize someone. The certificate offered by Harvard after completion of CS50 is free. EdX also offer a fancy verifiable certificate after completion but you have to pay for it... In summary, CS50 and Harvard's CS50 certificate is totally free💯
