Hello Attilio. No, I'm sorry here. I don't have any ND-filter for my camera. For panorampicture I use the panoramamode of the camera - freehand. Most times this works... Have a nice evening 😊 Dirk

Attilio this is absolutely awesome. The video is great but wow these guides look excellent! The way you’ve designed and constructed them sets them apart from almost any other photography guide and editing guide I’ve come across. The cutting edge voice search, translations, on the go access - so so much better than the usual pdf downloads you get with other photographers. You deserve everything coming from this, as well as the new partnerships you’ve formed since you’ve relaunched the channel this year. Excellent work my friend 🙌🙌

The tree problem is from the parallax distortion that create gosting , not the long exposure. That is why you have to use a nodal slide.

Hi Attilio: Thanks for creating and sharing this video. I love shooting long exposure images but I haven't had too many occasions to mix long exposure & pano techniques together. I will certainly try this out. I have also purchased your new training video series and I really like the way that you put this information together. While I am an experienced photographer I am always open to seeing new teaching styles and content, and you have done a wonderful job on this material. I also just received my new T-Shirt and the quality of the product is exceptional. Cheers, Keith Pinn (Canada)

I am grateful to find your channel. Thank you! I will check out the guides as well. I took many panoramas during our historic snowfall year but not with long exposure. But I do have a question. Is the 120 second expose per image?....you have 7 images so the panorama image took 14 minutes? What if the light changes? Can you adjust exposures on each image? That is always a nagging situation I have with any panoramas. Thank you.

7:06 - I bought that thing a couple years ago. I have this Manfrotto ballhead 055 - part magnesium, light and very sturdy - with a quick release (QR) that's compatible with nothing and doesn't hold an L-bracket with Arca QR mount elegantly. Well, this disc in the video has Arca QR. And, the screw it came with, turned out to fit the Manfrotto head. So, I took the Manfrotto QR plate of, leaving only the stud on the ball and mounted the Sunwayfoto disc. Now the ballhead became a fast leveling base with single row panorama option. As I also have a 3D (multi-row) panorama "head", I can take a nodal slide from that set and have nodal rotation with very easy and fast stitching.

Stitching in Lightroom. I discovered that Photoshop could stitch a panorama that Lightroom could not. Ps may have a very simple algorithm but it works out really well and is smart in several ways without deep intelligence. When are you likely to run into Lr limitations? With sharp patterned, still sharp, foregrounds, shot without nodal slide.

Great video Attilio. And thanks for creating the guides. I love the place that you took your shot from, and those trees , I really love them, so it's a pity to see them go. Maybe this is a bad idea, but I just thought of something, given the cloudless sky, wouldn't it have been possible to take a second pano with a regular exposure for the upper part with the trees in it and blend it in PS with the long exposure bottom part? Is it feasible? Thanks Attilio. Ciao !

Nice video, really inspiring. I don't like so much panorama photos but combined with long exposure they improve a lot. Should try indeed! You said overlapping shots by 30% by I see quite more in this example and my experience with highly overlapped images is not so good (i use limiting it to about 15%). I'm really curios to see how the photo merge process deals with shots so long exposed with light conditions that may change and textures that don't match (think for instance at waves that may differ quite a lot from one shot to the other). Maybe here comes a large overlap of images (I guess yours in Manarola overlapped by 60-70%), isn't it?
@AttilioRuffo
