Has to be the quickest and easiest ever door panel to pop off! Simple but effective. Hope other manufacturers follow suit. Thanks for the vid

hi. i'm considering further insulating the doors to improve the sound. after removing the door panel, is it easy to remove the plastic panel on the door itself? otherwise i see no other place where i can stick the insulation material. moreover, is the foam on the door panel worth to be removed? thanks!

Did you ever get this sorted? I've been thinking about doing the same.

Nice video. Cool to see how easy it is to access the speaker. Do you plan on upgrading it? I have a Sorento EX+ on order (same as SX in the US) and it doesn't have the Bose audio. Would just changing those speakers help or would I need an amplifier as well? Also, how did you get red seats?

Lol my buddy would only buy it if it came in leather and they said fine what color and he said red haha. Tomorrow i have a video coming out about installing a subwoofer. To tell the truth the speakers aren't to bad but definitely needs a sub. But if you wanted just a bit better sound throw in some mid grade speakers and Try that before amping

@@ghostlyrich Awesome. I'd love to put a sub in mine. Will definitely wait for your video. Thanks

Interesting that another video on the speaker wire polarities is the exact opposite of what you show. For example, for the Right Front wires, the positive is shown as Blue and the Negative is shown as Red. It makes me wonder which is actually correct, although it probably doesn't matter if you use either configuration as long as you keep polarity the same for all the speakers. The other video I mention was for a 2020 Kia Tellruride. Wondering if anyone else has noticed this.

@@ghostlyrich Thanks for those suggestions. I bought a pair of Infinity two-way separate mid-range/woofers and tweeters for the front doors to replace the stock speakers in our new 2023 Telluride S. It is bizarre that there are two different sets of white/brown wires running to each speaker via plugs; since the whole mess is wrapped up in black covering tape, it is nearly impossible to tell if the stock tweeter is tapped into the wire connecting the mid/sub speaker and just feeds off of that amp signal or if the stock head amp is actually sending separate (4 channel) signals to the speakers. Since the Infinity crossover has only one input it was also interesting to see that it didn't matter if I tapped into either the tweeter or mid/woofer leads to get sound from both speakers or if I temporarily connected both speaker leads to the crossover input nothing changed sound-wise. So I suspect the leads to both the stock med-tweeter speakers feeds off a common amp input. Since I will be adding an amplified compact sub next via the front high-level speaker leads, it is also going to be interesting to see if it makes a difference if I tap into either the tweeter leads or the mid/sub front leads for signal. It's too bad that spending $50k on a Telluride S doesn't give you a decent stereo system and one has to go to all this hassle and expense to try and upgrade their crummy sound system. I've heard even the "premium" Harmon-Kardon system on the EX and SX models is still subpar. Hard to believe the 14-speaker HK system on my old daily-driver 2012 Mercedes C250 sounds fantastic compared to this Kia crap.

@@richardheilman6280 man! Some of the vehicles are just brutal. With the vehicle prices being so inflated right now it’s insane what gets passed for 50,000 and has the bare basic audio which has such bad roll off after 75% volume you have no bass just so it can save the speakers. I bought a base model jeep for 28,000 back in 2015 and the first thing I did was drove it home from the lot and the next day I ripped out all the speakers. I was just recently trying to help a friend look at jeeps and same scenario base model jeep now is 49,999 Canadian And it has the worst sound you can possibly get.

Thank you for the video. This video helped me a lot to replace the stereo speakers on my car.. However, you're speaker negative and positive information was all wrong. All 4 speaker your guidance was totally opposite. + should be -. - should be + Must be some kind of a confusion. please update your speaker wire information as soon as possible to prevent other people's speaker installation.
