hi!! It shouldn't put them off as lots of successful models have box braids! But it may be useful for them to see you with your natural hair too if you have any photos you could attach xx

I have a really important question. It concerns mostly a friend of mine. She lives in the USA but is from another country. So when the modeling website asks information about 'Country and City', should she put her birthplace or the country in which she currently lives, so that the modeling scouts know that she lives not that far off in case they want to see her in person.

She needs to put where she currently lives, not where she’s from. They won’t ask where you’re from unless they want to know your ethnicity

Agencies like to see the model most natural. You can include pictures with your hair straightened to show diversity in hair but be sure to include your natural hair so the client isn’t put off when you pop up with a different hairstyle. xx

I think you should! There’s different types of modelling you can do such as commercial which doesn’t require you to be tall! I recommend u take new photos like the ones she took in the vid.

Genuine question (yours is the first video I've watched in relating to modelling, I'm new to this but it's something I've wanted to do for a while,) in your opinion do you think larger people (size UK20 in clothes) can be models? I know there's "plus-size" models, but they all still tend to have a somewhat hourglass figure.. I'm more of an apple, but my friends have said that my "lumps" are really smooth, I just need more confidence, and I'm hoping taking more pictures and even getting just one picture up on someone's site would boost my confidence and maybe even lead to a career.. I'm just not sure because, well I'm worried about being laughed at honestly.

Alot of agencies look for natural features thus it's prefered to wear very minimal makeup , don't worry about ur marks just be confident and take good quality photos (I know many girls in my agency who have got in even though they had several dark spots and even acne in their polaroids)

Yea that’s what I’m wondering, On TikTok they said when you go to the agency you can wear the braids. But take photos with your natural hair too, because they need those.
