@@manuelp7472 you're correct. It's the unfortunate truth of the modeling industry as it stands. Are people beautiful in their own way? Sure. Usually people who label themself as „brutally honest“ say stuff like „LMAO WHY DO YOU LOOK LIKE THE GIRL OF THE RING IN THAT DRESS“ - „YOU LOOK LIKE SHIT TODAY“ - „WHO GAVE YOU THOSE PANTS? GRANDMA??“ All of these can be interpreted as jokes if they are said BETWEEN FRIENDS but in my experience, both irl, from other people and from stories on the internet is that brutally honest people might say those things to anyone, even people they barely know or have just met, not just friends. Hope that cleared it up. Edit: of course not everyone who says they‘re brutally honest are like that. Some just give genuine criticism which is „xy looks good, but it‘d look netter that way“ or „xy doesn‘t fit you, try zy“. But I‘m not gonna talk about a small percentage in a huge majority.

I like this. He gives two ratings. One from a modeling POV, and one from a personal POV. that’s perfect and I’m glad he specified. I liked how he was very honest but respectful

This guy was a pleasant surprise, he was able to give his prespective without being offensive to any of the persons. I really liked that.

i think the way he summarized people without a change in tone really made you listen to what he had to say. He was direct, made his observations and conclusions on what worked and didn't work. His tone never changed throughout any of the examples and I feel like that made him all the more convincing

It's because he was able to separate the concept of attractiveness from that of marketability subverting peoples' expectations of both the video and the industry.

I'm asking myself why I like this guy so much and the answer is that he is just honest, and doesn't care if its brutal or not, he isn't being rude, or intentionally hurtful, he's evaluating, and its all fair. Wow do I miss this genuine type of personality in todays environment. Also, the way he is seamlessly dismissing them with just body posture is fantastic. Does anyone know who this guy is?

YES!! Someone who eloquently put into words that modeling ability does not equal beauty or attractiveness! It’s simply marketability.

You'd be surprised how many people did that for a season...and then the industry discarded them. Moved on to the next fresh new face. And now those people are bitter star bucks workers casually showing their co workers their runway photos on their breaks. 😂😂😏🍜🙏☹️🤪

I think he learned on the job as I’m sure he has had to have conversations with people where he had to deliver not so great news. You just learn. Important thing is he leaves them on a high note in some way, shape, or fashion (no pun intended)
@Zeldagirlartist3 жыл бұрын
While the other guy that commented was pretty spot on I’d say what you’re looking for is how he would find the positives in people one way or another. Like on the shorter women even though models are typically tall and slender he was still able to comment that they are beautiful and could still do well with petite modeling. Even though the one girl didn’t like that he commented on her nose ring she still seemed very pleased with the beauty compliment. But a lot of this does come down to the fact that he was just determining their different aspects and if they’d be useful in the modeling industry or not. Maybe that makes sense? Or at least that’s what I got from it.
