I've just received my TRF and I got band 7 in speaking and an overall score of 7.5! God bless you, Keith. Your videos were so helpful, including introducing various linking words, collocations, phrasal verbs, idioms, and of course, topic-based videos. You know why I chose this video to comment on? Cause I used the ideas and language introduced here to show off in my part 2 and part 3 Speaking test. Noteworthy that I didn't attend any class and also I had limited time to prepare for the test. Wish all the best to you Keith and everyone who is gonna take the IELTS test.

Thank you for creating this worthwhile video. To do your bit = to make a contribution You can do your bit by eating less meats, driving less frequently/ ptaking bicycles - play your part = do your bit - kick the can down the road: to delay making a difficult decision - grapple with an issue/problem/difficulty of sth - face a problem head on: deal with a problem directly put your head in your sand = ignore - make a dent in a problem. = make a small impact Climate change is a surmountable challenge. If you are putting your head into your sand of it, you can’t make a dent in this problem. So we need to face a problem head on and implement solutions.

Since a couple of months , we have been hearing+listening to all of your videos AND duly taking notes for our further improvement in English. But, we who are very much interested and familiar with the meaning of some scientific words such as exo thermic, endo thermic, surface tension, osmosis, diffusion, viscosity, etc., etc., are less interested to know the meaning of other words such as abducted, armaments, etc., etc., But, only "the grammar knowledge" help us to understand the exact meaning of ALL different sentences such as He talks as if he is a scientist. etc., etc., etc., We revise our English grammar daily.

To : Mr. Keith. Hearing & Listening : To sharpen our English, we have attentively heared+listened to the contents of your latest video . We will repeat the same till your next video. Speaking : We hardly have people with whom we can speak only English. So, our speaking style of English is similar/identical to that of our Writing English. So, our mind caution us to use the past participle of the verb "leave" , to obey to the grammar rules, in the following spoken English. "When we arrived the Rly., station, the train had left (already). Sometimes break occur, while speaking, if the past participle of some commonly used verbs are forgotten /unknown. Reading : We often read English books wherein Grammar rules are very strictly followed. Writing : We ourselves had already learnt the Grammar rules taught in "P. C Wren & Martin English grammar book". This grammar rules helps us to immediately spot out the mistakes of others when they use Present continuous tense instead of Simple Present tense, in speaking and writing. Regards to Mr. Keith. S.Raman, India, TAMIL NADU wherein our National language, Hindi learning is prohibited by the stupid and selfish politicians who know neither Sanskrit nor English; but, only Tamil language. Besides Tamil, we have learnt Sanskrit and Malayalam. WHAT A MARVELOUS LANGUAGE SANSKRIT IS ! ! ! ! Reports say, "NASA - USA has absorbed in only the SANSKRIT for their research-studies". But, we, Sanskrit lovers, admit that unlike the English Pandits, The Sanskrit Pandits had earlier failed to spread the Sanskrit all over the world due to the shortage of medias.

In order for your essay to get Band 9 in IELTS, it needs a 9 in every single criterion. Band 9 in Task Achievement means that you've fully addressed all parts of the task and your position expressed in your answer is completely developed and includes relevant ideas which you wrote at length about. Band 9 in Coherence and Cohesion means you have structured your essay correctly in terms of using paragraphs and you've achieved cohesion effortlessly, without drawing attention to it. To get Band 9 for Lexical Resource you need a variety of higher-level vocabulary, but the way you use it has to be natural; your errors, if any, must be rare and hardly noticeable. Band 9 for Grammatical Range and Accuracy comes from using a wide range of sentence structures correctly, accurately, and flexibly.
