It's not funny because of the Indian accent. It's funny because of the contrast between Australian bogan culture and the excessively formal culture the British left Indian education and corporate institutions with. The only time an Australian says "mister" is when they're in parliament or court.

FYI to the boofheads accusing Indians of reverse racism, How to Talk Australians was written, produced and directed by 3 Aussies: Tony Rogers, Rob Hibbert and Jason Byrne. Developed originally for Australian TV, for whatever reason/s it didn't happen and Rogers, Hibbert and Byrne took a punt with a web series. These blokes know their Australian history. During the 1850s gold rushes in Victoria and NSW, jimmygrant was colonial slang for immigrant. Nice obscure touch. Season 2 please? Australian satire at its best - a subversive piss-take of ourselves.

as an honest to god Australian I can say that I personally am not in any way offended what so ever. I can see it as a joke and have a good laugh, we normally refer to it as 'takin the piss' which means that we insult it or be mean about it in a joking way. It's obviously not meant to be racist. the worst part is that a bit of it is true.

@@AryanSingh-ku7zb a compliment ... our gypsies come from india, is an indian tribe, like otomans are an asian, chinese mongol like tribe, departed long time ago ... even in india you have ancestral african blacks who came from the time of islamic rullership not only indian blacks ... we are all related according to the bible

I've seen several of your videos. You should be ambassadors for Aus. You've captured the essence of Aus culture that seems to escape so many tourists and new arrivals - ie don't take life too seriously, relax and have fun, learn to laugh at yourself. Aussie lingo might sound threatening but, generally speaking (unfortunately we have our share of racist boguns), it's not intended to be. If we didn't like and accept you we wouldn't associate with you at all.
