Jayne Latz!! You rock! I gave my first presentation at age 65, and it was good. All because I stumbled across you when I was searching the internet for help. Not only do you teach the way for effective communication but by doing so, you are giving acting lessons. Thank you

She got me…. I love all of Jane’s videos but I even watch them at at least 1.25x… 🤦🏽♀️ SO hard to slow down while speaking and harder to listen to someone who speaks too slowly but I know it’s important

Hi madam Wonderful explanation. The slow version is effective and creates impact. However, after listening to slow version and then listening to fast version, the fast version is also effective. The thing is, I need to be more attentive to listening to fast version than slow version. Could you throw light on the effectiveness of speech more than speaking slowly?
@TheCommunicationTrainer3 жыл бұрын
Thank you Dr. Francis for this insightful question. People can in fact be impactful in their delivery when speaking slowly or at a faster rate. It depends on the intention of the message. I like to train people to deliver their message with greater impact. One needs to think about their message and how they want it delivered. Having said that, please keep in mind, intentions are often lost when one speaks rapidly.
