I have been doing daily videos to camera 5-10mins on days I can. I'm on day 262 today! It's your videos which inspired me to start the journey. I feel a vast improvement in my English and also in my other languages. It's a very slow but definite improvement. I'm not brilliant but it's all relative to where your started and nothing else. I'd recommend everyone to try this. Will be painful at the start and you'll be wondering if it's worth it. Just like going to the gym you only excited when you visibly see improvement which will come. My plan is to continue for as long as I can as everyday is a another grain added on the mountain I'm building. Thank you!!

I took a storytelling workshop with Matthew Dicks years ago and it was brilliant. Love how you demonstrated a one-take video with “presence”!

I love this. Also love that you’re doubling down on one of the most common, but least talked about, problems. Very cool thumbnail too

One of my biggest problem is the background, I have try every wall in my house, and you just put the camera in the middle of the room and set the focus on you, briliant.

omg I love this video! Lol, I noticed myself laughing out loud a few times and enjoying the energy of it as well as the content. Bravo! You truly embodied your point and I'm inspired.

Sometimes you have a script you want to craft every word to get out the correct message as quickly as possible. I do that when i am teaching something, mostly we just vlog our lives so that is ad-lib. More people who like you for who you are, thats genius. Larry

I've struggled with blanking my whole life. And not connecting with my authentic self (yes, terrifying) is an even deeper problem. I just found your content, and honestly think this is actually the perfect next step on my healing from decades of abuse journey. Thank you.

Thomas this is an amazing video. I love when you get into this time of stuff. No one is doing anything like this on KZbin. Great job, awesome information, fire video!

I have fou nd that all of these things are true. I solved my own issues by forcing myself to live stream everyday. The nervousness went away. After nerves go away, you can relax and start to b yourself. I am still on this journey to becoming myself, but I feel like it's working.

I'll tell you what got me in this video .... the 3-second silence, it felt right, in place, one could say, part of a script, and most importantly, natural! You gave me a few tools. Thank you.

Great video as always Thomas. One thing I would say is that everyone is using Sam Sulek as an example of people making long rambly videos, but he’s a unicorn. People lock into him for many reasons and love him for his lifestyle etc.

Good morning! Thomas here. I taught for 40 years, and I feel uncomfortable in front of a camera. What you've done is remind me that I had a "presentation persona" that worked while teaching, and that will work on cam, too. I just have to try it. Right now my "studio" is too cold to work in, but in a few days I'm going to try all this. The other thing to remember is that I can edit. So ten seconds of being blank can be cut. Thanks for the helpful video.
